unvote; vote joank

The cat in the hat, who as predicted won't show up, may unvote and lynch literally anyone he wants (results as standing would have joank lynched via the hat)

I would encourage al sips actually

Is the person with the hat really allowed to change their vote after the lynch has tied? I thought it was just that only their vote counts.

If that's so, Kennigit, you've decided to ensure that Joan can't be killed in a tiebreak situation by ensuring that he dies without one anyway.

In this instance, Takhisis gets the hat and has been voting for Joan, so Joan dies, because no other votes count. He presumably can't change his mind on the fly once the vote ties, right?

The vote is not tied, so the hat doesn't matter. The final tally is all that matters.

Day 1

JohannaK! You are hereby accused of being an outlaw. Now you die by lynching, as dictated by tradition.

So, that was a very silly waggon.

The question we should all be asking here, though, is why the hell Joan decided to go after me for trying to give him the hat if he was town? I would understand if he was scum; he probably didn't want people suspecting we would be in league as scumbuddies, so he would vote to lynch me to divert any heat off of him (which backfired spectacularly, but that's life).

But a townie? I don't know if he was just trying to haze me (wouldn't put it past him) or what not, but that was just incredibly poor play on his part. I'll know not to be nice to him in the future >:c

As for who is scum, I think the important thing to do is just wait to see who gets killed. We still really don't have any info off of that lynch, since day 1 is far too early. I do see some camps/alliances/whatever you want to call them have already formed, and depending on who gets picked off we can start naming suspects. Not going to say anything further since I don't want to influence the mafia's decision.

Rarely is the question asked: is our children learning why flinch so hard to like 2 votes??

You don't just walk into Mafia expecting to have friends. :p

You bumbling bunch of nabobs of negativity.

I got 6 best friends, all loaded up with my two brothers Smith & Wesson

YEE HAW

You're a dang liar who lies, Kennigit, boy. You changed the vote so that it was no longer tied, but voted ta lynch that there same person I was voting for. What're ye sayin' it's me fault, you yella-bellied dog?

My vote was meaningless, all it did was allow you to make a choice (if you were present) on literally anyone in the game.

it would have been 6-6 tie if you unvoted. Without an additional vote on joank, it'd be pointless for you to unvote unless intending to lynch kingmorgan.

And it still allowed literally anyone who was voting for joank to unvote and vote kingmorgan if they preferred that. (7-6 flips to 6-7). Only the hat bearer can literally plan to lynch anyone though.

My vote empowered you. and did nothing to change the desires of every person voting.

This is the least genuine post in the thread. Massive FOS to you Al.

Well, you know, I'm yet to see when someone says, "Gee, Al, that's some genuine post you got there!" Never happened to me yet. Only scum tells me I'm townie.

I don't really think you believe arakhor/spaceman are w/w at all.

They both are acting more cautious than an Eastville bureaucrat talking about regulations to tying yer horse to a pole, but do ya really think wolves are going to act so similar to each other?

I did think their interaction was stretched. Arakhor was really non-committing, like NSP3. Spaceman's behavior like today got him lynched in other games on D1. I'm less sure know, but I see your point.
