As per Liq's suggestion, I have played Farae's turnset as well

. ndy, you can play my slot, and it'll go back to the regular rotation once we get past you

.
Turn (0): After looking through all our cities... I have to say that Mercantilism truly sucks. Especially for a civ as backwards as us. We cannot afford to be making LESS money. Also... pacifism REALLY SUCKS if you want me to go crack some heads. I don't care about making more great people points in all the cities with Judaism, why do we need to do that? Most of our cities will never see a great person!
Also, Caste System is utterly useless, seeing as almost none of our cities can support specialists, or are even close to being able to support specialists (besides barb town).
Methinks it's time for a civics change. Setting... Despotism, Nationhood, Slavery, Decentralization, Theocracy. Time: 2 turns.
Arg. Timbuktu is majorly screwed over. The Globe is gonna take 50 turns to complete! Hopefully I can capture Gaul and end this, letting Mali's citizens assimilate to us

. Otherwise, Timbuktu is really, really useless... I starve the ingrates by making them all work the forests and mines...
Turn (1): Funny how we're making more in anarchy than with government (due to trades with AI). I start moving workers towards Djenne. Want to get rid of some cottages so it can grow.
Turn (2): My new civics come into play. We are now making money at +5 gold per turn instead of losing 11 gold per turn. Colonge itself is cashing in 10 gold from trades (previously only 2 gold when trading with ourselves). Generally just maintaining and fiddling with the cities. Almost ready for big military boom.
Turn (3): Uhg... Alex wants us to declare war on Victoria... I like Alex. I think he would make an excellent ally. And I want his world map. So... I accept his war propsal. Alex is now pleased. Let's hope it gets better. He's Theocratic... so we can't convert him...
Turn (4): Alex somehow grabbed a city that gave him all the resources we were selling to him. Damn... We need to destroy Mali. But I'm lacking up to date units. Will have them when cavs come... But until then.
Just some general updating.
Turn (5): Military buildup by Mansa... Building more cats... waiting for stupid Military Tradition...
Turn (6): Alex is pounding Hastings hard. This will be a harsh battle. Workers going chop, chop, chop around Timbuktu. I want the Globe done... for reasons that will become clear soon.
Turn (7): What was that for Alex? I was enjoying the show. Alex just captured and razed Hastings. Boo... Now I can't see what's going on. I have a big stack sitting on Mansa's borders. I eject his boats from my seas. He has to see this coming...
Turn (8): Military Tradition comes in... You know what this means

. Start on Printing Press (yes I know other people have it, but they won't trade with me!). Upgrade some knights. Next turn, Mali will be invaded for the final time.
Wait... this looks good. We have a good monopoly on military tradition

. Time to trade. I get the printing press, and economics from Alex, AND 200 gold. All for military trad. Unfortunately, I can't trade it to anyone else for anything good, and I won't give it to them to boost their troops.
Turn (9): Mile high stack moves into Mali, after he refuses to give us all his gold

.
Turn (10): Stack keeps moving...
Turn (11): Montezuma threatens us for his map. Haha. I reject him and he scampers away. My stack reaches Gaul... Oh yeah, Colonge really is a piece of work. This is gonna make a sweet amount of troops...
Turn (12): Cats reduce Gaul's defences in 1 turn. Sweet. Suicide cat dies, but does collateral.
In the ensuing struggle, I lose 3 seasoned units to the barbaric hordes of Mali... but in the end...
The Mali have fallen! We are the first Civ in the game to have destroyed another!
Due to the Mali culture suddenly becoming ours, the need for the Globe is somewhat lessened. It's still going to be finished though, for some future engagements.
Turn (13): A lot of nothing. A huge mass of units moves into Gaul, to reduce our supply... and a bunch of workers stand around.
Turn (14): Sue Victoria for peace... Ok. Manage to get 20 gold. She has a lot of techs, but I get the feeling we won't be able to acquire any unless we actually attack her! Get all of Monty's gold for Philosophy. From Mao, I get Constitution for Military Tradition. I got the more expensive tech

. Err... and Mao gave me cash for it too. Excellent. Mao is part of Alex's axis, so I don't think there's too much to worry about. He might fight Inca too, which is always good.
Last chop finishes. Globe done next turn.
Turn (15): Mwhaha! Globe is done! Now I can whip ANYTHING. Start with tonnes of irrigration. I put up a granary and whip it. Also, when we get better units, we can draft 4 at a time from Timbuktu, as everyone left will be content to sit around and watch Shakespeare.
Turn (16): Next thing in Timbuktu is a Barracks... so all the draftees will have at least SOME experience.
Now we have 2 great engineers... I'll let ndy decide what to do with them.
Turn (17): Finish parts, go for Astronomy. Doesn't look like anyone wants to trade for it though. I'm not giving it to enemies.
Turn (18): Moving... not much else. Gaul comes out of resistance soon.
Turn (19): Uhg. Gaul is being culture pushed. I rush a theatre to help it out. Will need temples galore too.
Turn (20): Mao traded me corporation for parts! Yay! Now I'm at tech parity with him, as well as getting more gold.
Ok, analysis. Annihilated Mali, although it seems to have taken a long time to do so. We got 1 extra city this dual turn, which is not that useful due to America's cultural pressure. However, due to a giant stack sitting in it, we should be ok, no chance of riot right now.
With out longtime foe destroyed, we need to continue to climb the score charts. Right now, we have an unholy high stack of cavalry, with more on the way. I suggest we smash Asoka to little bits. Firstly, I'm certain that most of his score is culture, his one city that I can see seems lightly defended, compared to Mali at least.
The other potential target is Washington, but I have no data on his territory. I can't seem to get a world map from anyone. Arg.
The only problem with either is that they have more tech than us. This potentially means that they may have rifles. However, our cavs come out with dual promotion, so if we get pinch to take on their gunpowder units, we should be ok, although we may lose LOTS of cavs.
We need more work for our workers to do

. Oh yeah, once we get riflemen, we can draft every turn or so from Timbuktu, they won't care

.
