So I just had a fascination to read about walruses, and look up pet walruses, then I remembered all about lolrus and bucket pics.

Sorry, that's not correct. The sign is a reference to "Meatless Tuesday" which was a voluntary rationing program. It might also have a humorous double meaning by alluding to the popular Popeye character Wimpy: "I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today."

I know it may seem silly, but many American restaurants renamed French Fries ' freedom fries' about 10 years ago, and they weren't even at war with each other!

That is because when Bush wanted to go to war with Iraq, France knew there was no reason to and refused to go along with the U.S.
