Well, you have that guy there... Idk what his name is, but it looks like an emp unit, which I know you dont start with at the begening of the game. Anyone know what that is?

Probably his own (XienWolf's) modmod? Or maybe he set to recieve that empyrean unit in beginning (Full_of_resources map script for example) ...

Those aren't perls, those are clams and he has the resources tab checked, thats why resourses appear.

My guess is the same as Kenken, that it greatly increases vision range, see how much of the map you can see...

EDIT: @Merciary the settler isn't selected the warrior is

Still, that much vision range without optics, and the promotion might be on the settler too.

Lol. Didn't know guessing games were so popular kenken244 got it right though (named after the number game by chance?), well, got the hard to spot part right, the easy to spot part is that it also increases movement, as warriors tend not to have Move value of 2.


I didn't screenshot it, but the next game I loaded was actually worse, then I started on a single desert FLATLAND tile. Don't remember if I had better sea resources or not though.

And yes, the strange Empyrean looking dude is a Lightbringer, whicht he Malakim start with instead of a scout (and all 3 units have the new strange promotion)

(Kael went to greath length to pin him down. But if he attatches a great commander and gets Mobility, sooner or later he will go on a little stroll. Nothing bad about that imo.)

Apparently, his crops grew a bit too tall.
