Open MS Paint. Insert the image. Save the result as *.JPEG.

The game already saves the image. No need to paste it into an image editing program. Simply go to My Games\Beyond the Sword\Screenshots.

That may actually not be as neat as it looks. I once had such a start, and settled in the middle of it, where my entire BFC was filled with floodplain. I thought the city would get at least size 30, but it actually never got past size 1 because of the enormous amount of .

As apenpaap wrote, all flood plains is a curse.

I would settle on the scrubs, then on the forested grassland north and on the plains west. Three cozy cities with swappable gold and lot of food.

Ive been to Egypt. I can personally say I have never looked at the floodplains and thought, "Gosh, thats much more fertile..."

I tried playing with this a bit today. I wasn't able to adjust the vertical angle (angle with the ground) though and the only thing that I found to adjust horizontal was the Control Right Arrow or Control Left Arrow. Any tips?

I usually don't complain that much about the AI, but then I see something like this:

Clearly there is some room for improvement.

(High to low game, it's turn 123, the grigori still hasn't met any other AIs, they have 15 warriors and an adventurer scout and still haven't settled their second city.)

You must love the fact that the AI promoted their scout with heroic defence I and II... I'm sure thats what you would have done with it.

And a woodsman promotion to boot, its almost a wasted hero.
