1) This has got to be the most impressive fish-fail I've ever seen. EDIT: Turns out later there was oil south of the fish (on the east side) too.
2) As much as I've gotten used to AI city placement, this one made me facepalm. SHE HAD ALL 3 RESOURCES ALREADY!!!!!!
3) That's kind of a dead giveaway, Shaka... holding one SOD on my borders while you wait for the other 2 to catch up is not very smart.

Shaka did a really strange thing... I had a dozen pikemen ready, as most of his invasion force consisted of mounted units and a few cats, but suddenly he heads across my borders without declaring war. And then 2 turns later, he turns around and declares war on Sury (!) with whom he was Pleased. I was content to watch Sury get hammered on both fronts until he came up with the AP resolution to declare was on Shaka, and my faithful vassal Victoria voted yes. What a traitor. Anyway, as you can see from pics 1 and 2, I am firmly at war with Shaka, and it's not going as well as my score ownage would suggest... he has almost equal techs with me, and there is something scary about him having about 20 stacks of 20+ units each. And I think Sury was a moron and traded Machinery to him the turn before Shaka declared war, because all of a sudden, he has crossbows and maces.
