And thus, Marketing was born!

Alright, so I think the Khmer Empire is indecently named to begin with, but this is going too far:

Errrrr, is the 'terrorist' having a mace shoved right through him or is it my graphic imagination at work again?

Although, unlike Bangkok, that one isn't actually pronounced indecently.

I can't even figure out which one of those the terrorist is. :p

I would think the one with the mace ... that doesn't sound that civilized.

It looks like the guy is being arrested. And of course the Muslim is the terrorist. Is there any other permutation?

Of course there are. IRA (Ireland) leaps to mind. Internal US citizens (anthrax mailed inside letters to U.S. politicians), John Brown (1800–1859) was an abolitionist who advocated and practiced armed opposition to slavery, leading several attacks between 1856 and 1859. I am sure that the British would have described the pre Independence American people involved in the uprising as terrorists.

Basically - terrorism is a tool used by those that are militarily weak to express their desire.

Better said, if you are the governement, it is never terrorism ( internally at least ), no matter how much terror you spread. Might makes right, and not only in the game :p

historicly, terrorists have been (along others) freedom fighters not supported by their local government ... (see the freedom fighters doing WW2 ... they was offically called Terrorists up to the day Germany drew out of that specific area)

I had an odd experience with OOS (out of sync) .
I played a duel with another player and we battled heavyly about an city on a landbridge.

Suddenly, an "out of sync" message appeared but in the heat of the battle we did not stop and reconnect.

Funny thing:
I defended my city and wiped out the main attacker army and was happy to announce that via teamspeak as my enemy claimed to have captured my city because i attacked so stupidly??? ... Each of us took a screenshot to prove his point.
I have attached them. You see different situations on the same turn time played after 1 turn of OOS.

Weird. What'd you guys do? Call a "do over"?

Yes. Thanks to the "civ Autosave function", we could start again from some turns earlier.
... and my version of reality proved to be more powerful :D

Around here, we would say it proved to be "the superior". :goodjob:
