Why are you demolishing Zara? Why not kill off Sury?

Because I got forced in to war with Zara by the Apostolic Palace, and may as well demolish him anyway. Plus, I'm warring by opinion in this game to ensure anyone I'm at peace with doesn't suddenly decide to surprise DoW.
I'm saving Surya for last. He has two damn vassals (Joao and Churchill), and I don't think I can go to war without losing a few cities to them before I can cap Surya. However I suspect I may be able to give Joao a city or two to force him to break free (he's over 50% on two things, exactly 50% on population, so it should be simple).

Anyways, I've always been given absolutely random generals, no matter the civ. o.O

I'm rather wondering why you're not at 100% with all the gold you have...

Saving it for unit upgrades. I'm gonna want all my rifles I'm using for attack upgraded to proper infantry, and all my cannons to artillery.
Plus, I never play with negative income. PLUS on marathon, modern age techs cost thousands anyway, so I only have enough to rush one tech at most.
I mean, the Future Era techs are worth tens of thousands, so I'm really not that rich.

1. that brown blob is SURY of the KHMER not mongolia which appeared in the replays

3. I thought I had killed you before??? Authough it may appear he has risen from the dead this isn't Sury this IS mongolia!!! Shaka put Kublai in charge of his colonies and that made the seeming resurection but why the bug with Sury's/Kublai's colour? (see 400 bc for the less obvious death line)

1st: The Goths were in Europe, not a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

3rd: Sitting Bull came back to life.

read the spoiler lol.... sitting bull never died (unfortunatly) it was a colour mixup Sury died and then Kublai appeared (later on in the game)and the Khmer (who was blue in game....) took the mongols color in the replays.... Then the mongols appeared later in the replay as the correct color but in the graph there is no sury just Kublai who "died" earlier and came back to life. Very confusing....

Good point, I didn't notice that. Unrelated though, some [snip] used Stasis... 30 turns of 0 production and research while they get increased hammers and beakers.
