AFAIK they are basic unaltered out of the box quotes. Was playing HOF Mod for GOTM. It doesn't change gameplay and I don't think it changes leader dialog.

Software Versions

I don't think they were changed. They are situational (and leader specific), two are at friendly and two at annoyed.
One needs to be annoyed during lent. I've only seen it once.

edit, oh changed from vanilla to warlords/bts - no idea if they were or not

That explains a lot, my thanks. I don't think I've seen anything like it in unmodded BTS either.

Check the XML files, they are real. I can even remember them from Vanilla, but I think the funniest leader quote I have ever read was from annoyed Mao:

"You know, Imperator Knoedel, it is people like you who give ruthless tyrants a bad name."

it might've been.. I was making a scenario in vanilla (sooo long ago.. using only WB) and I had to play a few turns as every civ to change their name (Because I didn't know how to otherwise) and so my memory on the diplo is fuzzy
