Oh, thanks jsweeney. I stared at it for a little while and guessed it was the mountains with forest on top. Is that part of hte mod? Do they generate hammers?

 that Levee sure offers protection against that raging river!

I love how the Great Wall cuts through a mountain and an aqueduct.

I don't get what the levee is, though.

The Levee is a new building in BTS (I am assuming you don't have, do you?), and most of the time, its supposed to be placed right next to the river, but as you can see in my photo, they placed it directly at the top of the hill (the courthouse is stuck inside of it).

I have it, just haven't played it yet.

Oh, well you should! Its a really great edition to CivIV :D!

While Toku isn't up-to-date techwise, his workers sure are fashionwise

Another trapped Caravel

Spoiler as these are screens from the HC LHC:
Spoiler :

God knows why peter brought a worker there: (interesting, when I captured that city some years later, the worker was still there... maybe the AI didn't even realize it had a worker with nothing to do at all)

How do I pay those 8 commerce to get Coimbra out of revolt?

The second pic isn't a trapped caravel because ships can go through forts...

I can't figure out which building is the courthouse. (I too thought you had mistaken the GW for the levee.)

The courthouse is on top of the hill, to the right of the Colosseum, and North of the Monastery, you'll see the top half and the rest "inside" a big green thing attached to a small concrete wall facing the camera, that big green thing with the concrete wall is the Levee and stuck inside of it is the courthouse.

If I had more proof I would submit this for STOD. I had a missionary merrily on its way to convert an A.I., but get the barb uprising event. No problem, I have the Great Wall. Except the barbs spawned on the tile my missionary was on. Scheming monk?
Civ4ScreenShot2990.JPG

Worse there is no record of the incident at all, as if the missionary didn't exist. Also, in that shot, the fartheset left city is the Mayan capital. THe RNG gods truely tried to screw me over, placing me in a corner AND putting another civ right by me for a grand total of about only one more good city besides my capital.

Oh there it is! Protect the half-buried courthouse!
