hell ... twice in the game i'm playing (where i'm by far the strongest on the power chart by massive military spam doing whole game) several AI's failed their dogpile check and thought they'd get a bite of me ... just to beg for peace ten years later paying money without me killing anything (or them doing either)

I decided to play a Terra map so that everyone is on one continent and look at this: I'm isolated by the mountain!!! I've never gotten an isolated start on Terra before . On the other hand, look at all those clams if my capital was 1SE I would have had 5 in my BFC. I wish I had chosen a financial leader.

Nice start; plenty of food and hills for production. Build Galleys to settle lots of coastal cities and build The Great Lighthouse.

This happened totally by accident. I considered canceling the two redundant trades, but I thought, nah, might as well give those seagoing merchants something to do....

From RFC, I accepted Turkey as a vassal, who was at war withSpain and Portugal. They DOW'd on me (and my vassals), then the defencive pacts started to kick in. I'm not sure that the event log even has a ll the DOW's. I was setting there laughing for like 30 seconds as the War Horns kept repeating themselves over and over and over and over and over...

EDIT: I was right. There were enough DOW's that the event log started deleting them. It should have started with "Spain/Portugal has declared war on England." That was maybe half way through the cycle.

I see a couple of AIs that aren't at war though...
