FusNES01: A Higher Consciousness

It's supposed to be a bunch of islands, I'm just going by Fuschia's commands. I could make them closer.

Shadow emissaries of Ketor approaches the Realm of Darnag and Kol the Undying, solicitating entrance to deliver a message to the rwo rulers of these realms.

The message embeded in thier spritual cores consists of this.

Greetings Powerful beings. This humble Divinity pleads with you munificience the honor of an Alliance between our realms and powers. Under Our leadership, Darnag, empires will rise in belief to us. Kol, our common beleife in the potential of humanity binds us together.

What say you? Do we create a pantheon? an alliance made in heaven?

Ketor the Humble

Soon an emissary of Darnang replies.

The message of reply is:

Darnang is willing to ally with you, and with Kol should he be willing. But these must be seperate alliances, not a single Triple Alliance.

in my profile to 'Benevolent Dictatorship'?

I could, but I won't unless you provide a suitable reason or you think it exceptionally important; here is my reasoning. The court organization is a stat for measuring how effectively and to-the-letter your orders to your court are carried out; their are, of course, pluses and minuses to the various forms, but I will not reveal them. Regardless, placing benevolent is pointless because it does not actually effect the way I deal with the stat in any way.

I'd say there needs to be more land.

There will be; this is hardly all the world, nor does it necessarily map all the land within this part of the world. If you want more land, write stories about more land; I will also be introducing various mythical/landmark locations during the updates that will add to the map.

And a warning to the wise: alliances may not be the best of thing to be doing for the moment, unless you are very sure the god will agree with you on most everything and you will not fight over followers often. The updates will have story hooks specifically designed to create conflict, so it will, most likely, occur sooner or later if you have any great differences.

OOC: O.O I don't see a SINGLE un-restrained good guy: people of one might rape: People of another might build rockets fired at the sun... this and that: we need some NPC nice gods. :). Also, community and work ethic can be worked for evil. :)

EDIt: Athenforth is forever a god of good unless someone spent 3 EPs per turn for 10 turns to twist me against my will. :). A humble otter by the name of 'Ashtifunt' being my humble thanks for the map, and a tentative gesture of friendship. To Szok and his hard work into the currant map of the world!

Darkness Rising

In the outer reaches of the known world there exists a chain of islands, now known as the Chain of Darkness. Around 20 tiny islands made up this chain. On them, volcanoes spew smoke, darkening the sky and blotting out the sun. Small jungles populate these islands. However, you will rarely see anyone on the shores of these islands.

These islands used to be home to many primitive tribes. They often warred with one another. Sometimes wars could last many long years and cost many people their lives. Vompi took pity on these people. They clearly needed his divine help.

So, Vompi descended upon a tribe that sat underneath a great volcano. The tribe was amazed at what they saw. Surely it was impossible for smoke to have a will of its own, flying downwards instead of up. Vompi then said in his usual first contact speech. He told them what he had told the Fantoians. However, there was a much different reaction from this group of people.

“Oh great Vompi,” the tribe elder said to Vompi “we are at war with many tribes. We will soon be destroyed by the others who live on these islands.”

“Have you tried talking with them and working out an agreement?” Vompi asked.

“Yes. The other tribes answer our kind words with axes and arrows. We now live in constant fear. Please. Help us.” The elder pleaded.

“Expect me tomorrow. You shall have to troubles by then.” The tribe cheered as Vompi said this. If only they knew the cruel fate they had just given their neighbors.

Vompi visited each tribe, demanding peace with the other tribes. Each one answered Vompi by uselessly chucking spears at his cloudy form. They had just dug themselves their grave. Vompi assembled a great host of spirits on one of the islands. It was a host beyond imagination. Man sized rats crawled here and there, gnawing on tree limbs and the occasional small animal. Giant spiders silently crawled among the trees, spinning webs to capture the many bugs in the jungle. However, their break would not last long.

It started with the strongest tribe in the entire island chain. At the stroke of midnight, darkness fell upon the village. No one could see the foes attacking them. Everywhere there was confusion. Warriors accidentally slew their fellow men. However, not a single one of the servants of darkness fell.

On and on the assaults went, from one island to another, each attack succeeding without fail. Within hours all the targeted tribes had been eaten up by the darkness. Vompi ordered his spirits to dispose of the bodies whichever way they saw fit. Vompi himself would go see the tribe he had done this all for.

“My followers, I have destroyed all those who stood in the way of your peace! Now, go live as I have told you too and your lives will be forever blissful. Your people will spread through these islands.” With that Vompi went back to his realm.

The tribe, now known as the Bozfo tribe, spread through the mountain chain like locusts through a field. They started to dwell in their volcanoes, which started to pour an unimaginable amount of smoke into the air. Soon, the entire chain of islands was covered in smoke. The jungles became home to many spirits, waiting until they are called upon to protect the Bozfo again. Small underground cities began to be made inside the old, dormant volcanoes by the residential spirits. Life is good for the Bozfo.

For now.

Far far south of Silverdale I traveled to clease myself of the sight of the Fantoians. Such lazyness! As I traveled with a small time explorer in a small, triangular rigged ship. His name is Hashank. His ship is 'Silthevak' The Silver shield. His reason of travel: to seek out a land almost Mythical, but know to myself, ruled by a diety called Kentor.

Far south the ship plowed, from the greatest and first coastal city state that understood my ways. A'Laim it is known 'Seamen' and well named. I took my image of a young hunter adventuring his keep. And his kindred soul lead by my tenants let me in as long as I scrub the decks: well, hard work does no one bad! And the puke can be saved for the bombardment of that vile land. God! How will he clean this off without human help? *Bleh*

Suddenly I sighted a giant mountain, So huge the tip is unseen, the sky bleached white through snow. A volcano spluttered at the sides. I zoomed in with my powers and sighted a tribal people. They seem friendly. Tis the crew I interned with are overjoyed for their rations set for a week had to last 6 days already. However, I refused my share and often took trips to the heavens, leaving an incarnate there as I do my other business. However, the hugeness decived us, and for two more days we traveled.

At last we reached it! The land is hot, yet the sky is cold. I feel the coolness refreshing, prehaps the god of Winter presides over the unseen peak? I do not know. However, I know that the people of the barrier isles, the Cordaiks, are mine. I asked for their cheif and show, although the poorness of the people, is decking in gold.

I asked him, probing his mind "Do you ignore this suffering?"

"Suffering? I see none! I see a paradice."

Now, I know, this land is dominated by a god of trickery, perhaps an isle conquered by Kentor. I shall never know, for now I travel east to find land for a new creation.

*~~*~~*~~*

Far to the west I tore away from my people. I needed a clear mind. I tugged at the mallable land, and pulled up a great platau. I smoothed great sloops and beaches. I dragged a great river. I rose a forest, and found a maple/ash forest that change to red in the autumn. I was delighted. I sent animals of colonization. I grew fields of flowers and grain. I sent a captain possessed with a trip to the west from the kind king of A'Liam where my land lay. I called it 'CrizenIzken' Red-woods of Change.

@ Fushia, I won't send orders until thursday: Things might happen! However, currantly my EP is spent on converting all of Siltheburh and aiding the colony on CrizenIzken. If needed I can send Thenkayen my younger brother to Get the others. A'Liam is the one to the west of the Hartsgards.

The Great Cartographer

Szok, sat cross-legged in the middle of the Great Library, still in the form of a black-haired young woman. The quill once again was flicking left and right across the map. As it did, ink faded away into nothing, reappearing and shifting elsewhere. New lands rose, matching those created by the might of Darnang, forcibly ripping an island straight out of the seas and smashing it back down some distance westwards. The Chain of Darkness rose out of nothingness, through the surprisingly significant exertions of Vompi.

Szok grinned slightly, noting the irony that an avatar of sloth would go through such efforts to spread his ways.

Satisfied with her work, the scribe rose. The map faded away into nothingness, making its way for the endless vaults in the upper realms of the Library. Striding out of the temple, the figure spread her arms, and lightly fell away through the clouds, towards the sea far below. In a fluid ripple, skin shifted to scale, and a great flying serpent, with powerful thrusts of its webbed wings, flew off into the distance.

OOC: Well, it wasn't really Vompi who made great efforts. He just bossed around his slaves to do everything to protect is followers. However, I guess Szok can think what it thinks.

Excellent map by the way!

It is a very good map.

Not sending orders until later is generally a good idea.

Currently I have orders from Darnang, Drahl, Vompi, and Ketor; all of them are good. Keep up the great story writing, all of you.

heres the story of Puc: (i hope i havent been to dirty, its difficult to write a flavorful story about a god of sexuality. if it is say so and ill make it cleaner)

Spoiler :
Puc sat calmly on the stump of a great old oak tree which had long since been dead, His eyes closed in contemplation. Behind him he could here the banter of his children Sel and Nim, who were just entering the 'adulthood' of gods, his wife, Amadea was fussing over them. To any other family, this scene would be normal, however what amde this scene exraordinary was the fact that all of those present were Gods, and none were human.

Puc is immensely tall and towers over the tallest human even when sitting, his strongly built body was supported by large goats legs between which rested an enormous phallus. His head was almost covered in shaggy brown fur and 2 curling goats horns protruded. Sel looked like his father in everyrespect, albeit he was significantly shorter, still being a mere child in comparison.

Amadea on the other had was stunning, a beautiful sight to behold, with beautifu golden hair, seming to flow around her head as if she were underwater. she was really very petite, being about the size of a human female, however her breast were much fuller and rounder than humans. Nim was again almost a splitting image of her mother, hiwever she was much more voluptuous, seductive figure who had just reached her prime.

Puc opened his eyes.

all around him was forest, magnificent Oaks spearing the sky, the thick foliage spattering the ground with dappled sunlight. springy moss coverd the ground. the scene was beautiful. Puc stood up, and his family stopped their banter, and lookd to him questioningly. Puc anounced, "we have much work to do my loves, i can feel human settlements in this forest, and we must make them aware of our presence."

Sel who almost always agreed with his father jumped up from the ground he had been reclingin on and asked, "what do you have in mind father?"
"I can feel their lust and desires, and their men seem strong willed, humans are truly a remarkable species. i shall see to it that these human get our blessings, and then they shall be happy, they shall celebrate our coming and worship us."

With that he sprinted off into the forest with inhumane speed, his family ony a step behind.

It was not long at all before he came across a large village resting in a valley. he leant against a nearby Oak to ponder once more.

he saw the humans fussing about thier dayly chores, walking here and there at brisk paces, as if there is never enough light in the day to achieve everything. He could feel the tension over the village, the stress was immense. after a while he realised they were preparing fortifications of some sort, wooden walls and a deep trench blocked the only real entrance into the village, everywhere else was steep cliff. Puc had an idea. HE closed his eyes once more and willed his family into the village, just in front of the wall. He caused his body to shrink to a more humane size, however his member remained in its gigantic proportions.

all the men working away at the wall stopepd and stared at this being and what could only be his family. they dropped their tools and stared in awe. that was pucs cue, and in a boombing voice he anounced, "People of Ferrdell! I am Puc, and this is my family, Amadea, my wife, and my children Sel and Nim. i sense the tension and stess in the air, you work tirelessly and have never got a moment to curb you true desires and lusts."
"What is it that causes so much tension?"

after a brief pause a young human, about 18 years of age bravely steps forward and replys, "We have long been at war with our neigbours of this island, the Stolzok tribe, their numbers are countless and we are having our last stand in this valley. We know the act is futile, but we cannot give up without a fight."

Although Puc already knew all this, he acted surpised and said, "well then Ferrdell, i offer you this: we are all bowerful beings, those whom you call gods. if you forever more devote yourselves to our cause we shall help you destroy this Stolzok tribe, and be rid of fear. your men are brave and strong, and your women beautiful, i will protect you if you prey to me."

at this those people who had been in hiding before emerged from their hovels. and almost in syncrony a massive chear was head run through the croud. A tall strongly build man then walked up to Puc and nealt before him, "my Lords and Ladies, i am Gurell, i am in command of this village at present, i will devote myself and my families to you if you can rid our island of our enemies". slowly more and more men and woman nealt befor puc ans his family until the entire village was at their knees. then Puc said, "So mote it be! Rise my people and prepare to grasp your glory, prepare to take these Stolzokians, they will not find you an easy match, not once im through with you." With that Puc grinned and returned to his normal form, a gasp rippled through the croud. Puc waved an arm over the village and instantly the men grew taller and more strongly built, their clothess too small for them ripped and fell to the ground, tey stood their in all their glory, every part of them growing in proportion. he stoped their growth wen they were about 10 feet tall. and solid muscle. with that puc turned, and with a last little flick of his hand he granted the men his favourite blessing and caused all thier members to double in size. the women gasped, some fainted. Puc turned and walked out of the village, Amadea remained behind and said with a roll of her eyes, "Men!" and she too flicked her hand and the sexual parts of the women too grew. she turned and followed her husband. Sel and Nim remained, looked at eash other with cheaky grins and flooded the village with lust.

Puc was pleased. he now had a tribe of faithful strong working tireless followers. but allwas not over yet, he still needed to prevent this other tribe from overrunning them. so puc willed into existance 9 giant minotaurs, clad in gleaming armour and with 4 muscular arms eash weilding an axe or hammer, he told the minotaurs to fassion armour and weapons fit for his followers, and to build fortifications of stone and iron. none would enter this village, not once puc was through with them...

OOC: well i dont think despotic fits with the theme im running with here. read my story, i think a made it clear Puc was in charge, and that everyone loves him. thus benevolent dictatorship. however id settle for a monarchy. despotic dosnt fit though.

EDIT:
@ Fuschia: when do you want orders by? ill do them last so i dont miss anything important.

@Szok would you be able to place a mountainous forested island just south of Silverdale? there should be lots of rivers and place for lots of valleys :p thanks :D

OOC: Well, it wasn't really Vompi who made great efforts. He just bossed around his slaves to do everything to protect is followers. However, I guess Szok can think what it thinks.

Excellent map by the way!

A god of KNOWLEDGE getting it wrong doesn't exactly work in this setting...

Vompi seems to be making a lot of friends, especially with his latest action of killing off a large group of bloodthirsty savages.

NOTE: It may be worth noting that Darnang's followers, who for now are mostly free to do what they want, are likely to be trying to gain political power in most places.

I am willing to change it to monarchy.

@ Fuschia: when do you want orders by? ill do them last so i dont miss anything important.

This Friday; I am willing to give a one day extension to anyone who absolutely cannot get them in on Friday, but I'm hoping their won't be any of those people.

Vompi seems to be making a lot of friends, especially with his latest action of killing off a large group of bloodthirsty savages.

Well, when I wrote the story I wasn't thinking of the tribes to be too big. they were going to have like 50-75 members each. Maybe even smaller than that. And since it was technically revenge for the other tribe, Drahl should be happy.

And you killed quite a few tribes too. A god of the ocean probably wouldn't take kindly to the slaughter and sacrifice of costal peoples.

A god of the ocean probably wouldn't take kindly to the slaughter and sacrifice of costal peoples.

Exactly. In fact, an event coming out of that is already part of my update draft, which should be interesting for Drahl. Very interesting. :)

I'll take this time to remind everyone that every action has an opposite, albeit often unequal, reaction, generally from other gods; if you want to avoid them, be careful.
