Is the middle of a pandemic really a good time to cut down? I just got the Steam version last month because there are only 2 6otm's each month (and ok, got suckered into an sgotm).

Agree, now it is a great time to play and seems that participation is rising But this discussion started pre-pandemic and we have a lot of game to play now - BOTMs 193,194 & 195 currently running and a new one starting tomorrow, so so far so good, I hope we will be able to keep it up after "return to
normal".

Er no, this thread started months ago!

As @Fine_Distinction says we are running more games than normal at the moment. Not sure we can keep that up once things get busy again but enjoy it for now.

Sounds like there wasn't necessarily a decision to cut down to one game a month. Would be understandable, but I love these games and it's awesome we currently have two concurrent ones. Any idea when the next one will be released? Are we likely to keep getting two games a month for the time being?

To be honest we don't currently have much of a schedule. Up until a year or so ago, we had a fixed 2-games-a-month schedule with games being release on or around 1st and 15th of each month. But that kinda broke down because it was mainly me and @Deckhand doing the games and for quite a while, because of real-life-commitments etc., we rarely had enough time to get the games out on schedule, so the whole thing just decayed into, putting games out when we were able. Since then @Noble Zarkon has come in and been able to do quite a few games - which has resulted in our being able to more consistently ensure there are normally 2 games running - although it's still a case of, we release games as and when we are able and notice that another game is required.

I'll most likely release another game in a week or so's time, to coincide with BOTM 197 closing.
