Future of Sweden...

I reffered to another common practice in the Western Europe - "blame the East (especially when you can't blame those responsible)".

Oh, you're a multiculturalist zealot! You're completely ignoring the awful criminal activities of people coming from Poland, Checkoslovakia, Lithunia &c! We in EU should have never accepted those countries.

That's why we need to search for an experience of individuals, which is often very negative.

Oh, that's so funny! But since you started: No muslim has ever done anything bad to me. Absolutely never! So should we conclude now that they are ok?

Make that two.

That's what they say in Funland?

No one has ever murdered me -> REVELATION! Murder does not exist! :crazyeye:

Brussels journal :vomit:

Other article has some actual stuff behind it though.

But everyone knows what the medicine is.
It's actually strengthening police force since you probably going to need immiigration to do the jobs anyhow since the folks in european countries are getting older. It is just reality we must face. Is it problematic? Sure. Can it be handled? Yes.

Same goes to Finland BTW.
Even though this cannot be ever considered to be "the cradle of multiculturalism".

well if it's something illegal (which is the only reason I can think of why you can't tell for legal reasons) doesn't this somehow defy your argument of the 'criminal' foreigners? ;)

well a few blacks in my school said they where going to go out and rob people last night, swedes obviously. So I went to the ghetto and got revenge.

Re. the background to this story:

A sociology student in her third semester has interviewed 11 young men in Malmö who have a criminal record and an immigrant background. This is qualitative sociology. There's no statistics involved.

These 11 young men have told her they exclusively mug teens their own age who are "Svennar", Swedes, and that this in their mind is part of a war they are waging on the Swedish society.

The sample group is a bit small, I would think, and likely a bit to eager to self-dramatization and self-justification, to make any hard and fast calls as to what it all means.
What they're saying is of course that they are not a small group of teen-hoodlum punks, but something much bigger and scarier. Question is, do we believe them?

Apparently these Bussels-bloggers share their view of themselves, making me think they might be just as prone to self-dramatization.:coffee:

Like I already said, take The Brussels Journal as it is: a weblog of a group of extreme right xenophobes.

There really is a problem with immigration in Sweden and Europe in general, but it's not the number of immigrants nor the origin of those immigrants. It's the so-called "multiculturalist" policy (as opposed to an integrationist policy). This has effectively created "separate but equal" societies within european society, by stimulating immigrants to keep their language, all of their traditions, live in closed communities and basically not interact with the rest of society.

It may seem extremely tolerant and progressive to teach immigrant kids in the tongue of their parents, but in reality it's pure idiocy. When you have second and even third generation immigrants still thinking of themselves as iraqis or somalis than your immigration policy is bankrupt, and this is precisely the case in most of Europe.

You were the one who said we should search for experiences of individuals. Or did you mean that we should search only for negative experiences?

Thinking about the Londonistan thread...

...here's the Swedish boy's names for 2006. Notice Mohammed hovering inconspiciously around place 70, and Ali at 95. If the name-thing is anything to go by (not that I really think it is), Sweden seems to be in the clear.
