For RNF, there was a "stay tuned" message at noon Eastern the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the official announcement at 10am Eastern the following Tuesday.

For GS, the weather livestream began at 1pm Eastern the Monday before Thanksgiving and the official announcement was 24 hours later.

It is currently nearly noon Eastern the Monday before Thanksgiving.

If this is happening, we are entering the most likely timeframe for the next 48 hours or so.

I am kind of half not expecting anything though, or at least anything now. I know they can hide the expansion builds now. But I just feel we would have heard something by now, if it was really happening along the usual timeframe. Still, I'm definitely hoping to be wrong...

Fascinating hypothesis. Unlikely, but I like the willingness to speculate.

Another idea, possibly dumb: this photo https://twitter.com/FXS_MisterKevin/status/1198990605927489538/photo/2 has 3 columns of t-shirts. The first column has 13 t-shirts, and the other two have 9 and 4. If we convert this to Roman numbers, we get XIII IX IV. Since there's no 13th month let's move one I to a separate column, so that we get XII I IX IV. Converting this back to Arabian numbers, we get 12 1 9 4, that can easily become 12.19.4, awkwardly translating into December 4th 2019, which is Wednesday. This could be an announcement date.

Again, it's all speculation with very obscure logic, so don't take this seriously...

And the last idea for today: if we combine the idea of adding unit formations (wedge, etc.), a bunch of new military units (obviously missing classical spearmen and medieval artillery) and a missing Statue of Zeus wonder (which might be suited for warmongering), there's the "War" part of upcoming expansion. On another hand, if we combine missing ideologies, plague, celebrations, buff to specialists and religion enhancements (which might be coming with Great Mosque of Djenne wonder), we get the "peace" part. Combining these parts, we easily get "War and Peace", which is a name of a book written by Lev Tolstoi, a Russian writer present in Civ 6, and could easily become the name for a new expansion. Perhaps too easy and bland, but still does the job, doesn't it?

P.S. Also this post from November 22nd https://twitter.com/FXS_MisterKevin/status/1197953043817541633 contains XOXO. Using binary arithmetics, this converts to 1010 = 8 + 2 = 10. We can assume that the announcement comes in 10 days starting from November 22nd, which gives us December 2nd (Monday). This contradicts my previous post, but still deserves to be mentioned.

At this stage, it would be very disappointing if we don’t get a third expansion.

I think the RNF timeline is the more likely of the two, but I think it's still possible that they could drop some kind of hint (probably not another 24 hour livestream thing again) tomorrow and an announcement livestream on Wednesday.
