They have done Wonders as part of DLC packs before (definitely for Civ V, not sure about Civ VI) so it's not out of the realm of possibility he might be dropping a cheeky little hint... but yes, if we are getting a third expansion, Notre Dame was always going to have been a likely choice.

I mean 'no hints' might actually mean 'no hints'. I feel like if it was revelatory of anything he might have been more likely to just not reply to the tweet rather than just saying 'no'... so could be we got worked up over nothing.

I tend to agree. Firaxis has been honest when denying hoaxes. I think if this were a real hint he would coyly "like" the tweet asking if it were a hint.

You missed the point I was making. I was trying to point to there being 1000s of posts in these forums about how substandard the A.I. is.

There are 1000s of posts in every forum of every strategy game on the market about how the AI is bad posted by the 2% of players that beat the game on Deity while over 60% of players don't win a game on average difficulty.

I don't understand Twitter, it always feels like twin peaks lodge for me so forgive me if I'm saying something that makes sense in the real world , but would you use a fxs-prefixed account name to post your holiday pictures if they did not relate to the game?

It's not an official account. He doesn't have it, but most dev's have some variation of "Opinions expressed do not necessarily represent those of my employer" in their biographies. They can and often do use them for personal reasons despite having the studio name in their Twitter handles. It kind of shows their pride in their work.

They've never given us a reason either why Isabella is not in the game despite being on that pixeled leader poster in that background of a video before the release of the game either.

Twitter (and Facebook, reddit, insta and so many more) creates a lot of noise. Accounts who just publish promotional stuff are just boring. What really gets interest is when you mix in personal stuff once in a while. Et voilà, don't take everything so seriously, that's a sign of the times, yes.

Their Twitter account is just their twitter account, it isn't an official channel to communicate with players. It's a personal account. We're just a bunch of creep stalkers following them to see what they're up to.
