We wish to offer greetings to our neighbors, and hope that we might realize a future of coexistance and trade together.

Orders

1) In case of a Gou'uld attack, build an Orbital Battery around the Algo system for defense. [-1 GC]

2) Construct the first Capital Ships of the Sezuranian Fleet -- IE, 4 Battleships. These will undoubtedly aid in defending against the Gou'uld. [-2 GC]

3) Add 5 more Cruisers and 10 more Frigates to the Fleet. [- 2 GC]

4) Bank the remaining GC for use in the future -- after all, we may need it.

5) Send exploration ships along the paths on the map. Any planets discovered with intelligent life are to be subject to standard Federation doctrine -- requesting that they join the Federation and in exchange they will have protection of a galactic power and 100% equal rights. Considering the current threat, bring up mention of the Gou'uld Empire and display their ships and all current information to them. If they will not join the Federation ask if they wish to trade or become an ally -- the purpose of the Federation, after all, is peaceful coexistance among races.

6) Garrison ships in the Ridshayl System and the Algo system. To be precise, 1 Battleship, 10 Frigates, and 5 Carriers are to take up patrol in Ridshayl. In Algo, all remaining ships -- except Exploration Ships, of course -- are to patrol. Scanning is to occur 24-7-365 [well, the Sezuranian equivalent, anyway] for a Gou'uld attack in all systems.

The Kyrillian Star Empire

The Emperor was quite pleased with the Imperial Fleet. They successfully managed to set up mining operations in three neighboring system, thus doubling the industrial output. These resources would be very useful for the Kyrillian shipyards, that recently launched the biggest spaceship a Kyrillian has ever laid eyes upon, the first dreadnaught.
Yet he was not fully satisfied. New problems had arisen, in form of the mighty Cylon empire, which indeed seemed to be by far more powerful than his own empire. Although the emperor had to quell his urge to carry warfare to this strange new worlds, he knew he would have to wait until his position was stronger. But there was a more rewarding target, a seemingly friendly species called "Mon Calamari", maybe willing to welcome a military enterprise. But he still had time, the Clans had just finished another war, so their bloodthirst was satisfied for the moment. This time he knew, would be essential for his preparations...

If there are already "Orbital Batteries" in a system and I want to have "Starbases", do I have to spend 4 GC or just 3 GC, since I already spent 1 GC on the system's defenses?

The message of the discovery of an alien empire had arrived in Centehua´s Headquarter on the fifth moon of Kormax several hours later. Immediatley he had boarded his flagship and headed for the important discovery. Exploration Crafts of the Imperial Navy had found an advanced civilisation when they scanned an apparent unhapitated system. The strangers had asked for a meeting with "the leader of our organization". But the honour to speak with the great Varendi Emporer was not granted to the unknown aliens and representative Centehua was called.

When the delegation of the Minorans entered the meeting hall of his flagship "Blood Dragon", Centehua was very suprised. The first reports had told him about a folk of miners. On Kormax the miners were a very respected group, since they had to work dangerously near by the numerous Vulcans of the rather young planet. Their work was hard and they were built were robust. In front of him stood three little hairy creatures. They had a very felted, dark pelt which covered their entire body. Apparently they didn´t wear any kind of clothes. Only their extremly big black eyes could be seen easily. Constantly squeking in their strange language they approached the throne of Centehua. When their distance to him was about five feet (and when he started to realize that they smelled very disgusting) one of them placed a strange looking robotic machine on the ground. At first Centehua thought it was a present, but then one of the creatures begun to speak in their language. Centehua didn´t understand a single word... After he was done, the small machine suddenly started to work.

"Greetings lizardmen. We are the Minorans from the Miner´s Guild. We control four planets and we a great miners. Yes we are truly masters of the minerals. Most likely we are the best miners in the entire universum!"

The rest of the speach was mostly about mining and the different types of minerals. Something Centehua was VERY uninterested in... he had about 0 respect for these little weaklings. At the end of his speach the minoran talked something about a trade agreement and how beneficial the minerals of the Miner´s guild would be for the Varendi civilisation. He was fond of jumping at this stinking piece of fur and ripping his body apart. But he had to be "diplomatical". and a trade agreement could be very beneficial for his people. He deceided that he would agree for his proposal for now and head back to Kormax, to consult the Emporer.

OOC: One more thing - considering that I am in the very frontier of galactic civilization, should I worry about anybody from outside the galaxy? BTW, I'd think it will be very fun if at some point, to replace the "classic" Hun invasions in 4000 BC NESes, a wormhole opens, and a gigantic NPC fleet appears to menace everybody and stuff. Sorry if I spoiled anything for the other players.

Invasion Plans

Have Pride of Homeworld(dreadnaught), Freedom(Battleship), 10 Cruisers, and 10 Frigates invade Botha, the Capitol of the Bothan Nation.(follow the thick black line) and appear out of hyperspace out near their homeworld and proceed to attack everything in orbit. Have the ships concentrate their fire on capitol ship after capitol ship, if they only have defences, have them concentrate on the shield generators, then the guns, and finally the power. Then land troops in a specific area on the planet after a bombardment of that area by the ships. Then order all ship batteries to be closed against the planet, but have them remain on alert for any counter-attacks. The reason for this invasion against the bothans, tell my ppl that these bothans must be the descendants of those tiger creatures in the past that with the fish heads and those beyond the gray caused the collaspe of the Akinean Empire, and that they have become peaceful due to their costly victories against the union of Akineas and Corus.

Expansion Plans
Have 4 Exploration Craft visit each one of those planets, have them offer peace if they find any sientiant beings. But always, send a shuttle down to bring the being up, and with the head of the species or the most powerful beings brought to the Commander abroad the Cruiser and negotiate for their speices entrance into the Republic.

Update 3: 2730 CE

The Akineans quickly discover 3 uninhabited systems. They discover Perseid ships orbiting around a planet they were going to claim. It is uncertain to whom hat and another uninhabited world will go to. The Akineans launch an attack against the Bothans, who after recent diplomacy began to build up defenses. The Bothans had built outposts around their systems to help deter an attack. These were able to destroy several ships on their own, 6 frigates lost and 4 cruisers, including the new Corus were also lost. The Dreadnaught Pride of Homeworld was responsible for the destruction of most of the defenses, as their shields held out. The Bothan government quickly fled from the battle in the 20 exploration craft. These have wounded up on the edge of Perseid space.

The United Federation of Sezuran find 3 uninhabited worlds and quickly claim them. The Federation has begun to build up defenses in case of a Gou’ld attack. The Gou’ld meanwhile have been kept at bay by the great diplomatic skills of the Sezuran. Without that, war would have been upon their federation.

Alstasia is eerily quite...

Lentis is able to get their act together and their civilization doesn’t collapse. They find and claim 3 uninhabited worlds. Unfortunately they also meet the Dominion. This war like race is leaded by the Founders, a shapeshifing like race that despises ‘solids’. They despised so much, they created a spices of genetically supped up super-soldiers called Jem’Hadar. They quickly conquered and subjugated 3 surrounding worlds and have begun to expand. Their aim is the destruction of all solid worlds along their path to galactic conquest.

The iron Wolf Hive Mind continues it’s path of expansion. They quickly take 3 uninhabited worlds and a colonized world is devoured by the hive. Their population have now become one with he hive.

The Verenians begin trade with the peaceful miners. Meanwhile they begin to expand outwards. They claim 3 uninhabited worlds. The 4th one they were exploring is inhabited by a race known as the Nietzscheans. Human like in appearance, they have retractable spines in their lower arm for personal combat. They are a militaristic race. They also find the Dominion.

The Aphraean Theocracy, The Heart of Armageddon and the Empire of the Reich all try to claim the same planet. The planet itself is neutral, for now. Meanwhile, each continue to peacefully expand. The Theocracy finds the Hutts. These large slug like creatures seem to be very good criminals. The planet is ruled by crime lords, with a puppet government. The Reich discovers very old defenses around a uninhabited planet, these systems are more advanced then anything they have. If they could somehow be captured, a whole new world may open up.

The coneheads take 3 systems.

The Ogres expand to the edge of the universe. Here they find an ancient site in the ice caps. It is an ancient pyramid aging almost 100,000 years old. Ogre scientists require 4 wc to probe into the pyramid and study what’s inside.

The republic of Riechstag is quite, as the government is probably in shock of earth’s appearance.

The Kyrillian Star Empire discovers another minor race, seemingly unrelated to the Mon Calamari. The Centauri’s are not as peaceful as the Mon Calamari but they know when not to war. Reports from the frontier come in of a type of religious chatter coming in from the ‘south’.

The Perseid’s 2 uninhabited planets are quickly claimed. Trouble arises when the Akineans claim planets the Perseids claim, as well as when the Bothans arrive asking for sanctuary.

The Varangar Empire quickly conquers the Ferengi after only 3 months of opposition. The Ferengi fleet was destroyed within mere minutes of the attack. The Ferengi banks have been looted and sent back home to Varangar.

Khanate of Mizora quickly expands and takes 4 uninhabited worlds. They also meet the Dominion and the race called the Marooms. Iron Star’s defenses are pretty high when the attack comes, as they had just finished a civil war between the mils and droids. The Starbases around the planet along with their star ships quickly repulse the Khanate attack. 1 Battleship, 4 Cruisers and a Frigate were lost before forces retreated. Iron Star only lost 1 Battleship.

Earth is contacted by the Maroom Kingdom, a peaceful, yet strong empire. Trade is quickly established between the two. Earth then begins to explore and claims an uninhabited planet and name it Troy. Little did they know what awaited them. Soon after mining operations began a strange race called the Covenant demanded Earth’s immediate withdrawal from the system. Earth has refused, war will soon follow.
