Game immediately crashes upon entering Mod Screen

I have no issues running the game at optimum settings and I have experienced no other issues but after I Installed G&K's my game crashes anytime I even Look at the mod screen window. Any ideas or leads will help, I'm usually very pc savvy but this one has me stumped

Please take a look at this thread. -> are you maybe at the moment in offline mode?

no that can't be it and my copy of CIV V before the expansion works fine. it has nothing to do with mods already in games, i can't even open the mods screen in the main menu of the program without immediate game crashes.
