Promblem is, :( I forgot what It's name is, so I can't do a search. :scan: and I need a better picture, if possible.

Looks like some sort of howitzer. Probably the sort they used in the siege of Liège. From the scale (comparing muzzle diameter with size of pickelhaube), the calibre looks to be around 9 inches.

One of the pictures I have, from the same site, said something about "of the type used to crush Belgian Fortess'

I'm probably going to hybrid it with something, If I can't find another picture with a proper view of the back.
I like the astetics(sp) of the engineering.

:o My baby won't stop slaping me in the face :o

well so long you dont slap him/her

BTW i have no idea what cannon it is, but its my 2300 post:D

It's a Krupp 210mm howitzer. Here's a picture of one without its gun shield used as a display piece. Couldn't find any reference to its "official" designation though.

:hmm: Doesn't look quite as cool without the shield :(
I'll play around with it some, and see if I can I can find a refference for the shield or make one myself. :)

Thanks Polaris.

@Illustrious, if you (or anyone else) finds a better pic, direct me to the site or post it. I'm practicing with WWI and II artillery and tanks :)

Thank you for playing.......Name this Artillery :)

Good Nite, I'm taking a nap.

Actually that top picture is one I used to make my Krupps Howitzer... I didn't get it exactly historicly accurate but I made one :)
They called it Big Bertha on most of the sites I found but on further searching Big Bertha came to be used by allied troops to refer to most German artillery... Don't know the exact designation.

:) Wow thanks guys, for the pics :) I think I should be able to make one now ;) (try to at least)

:edit: I just woke up, for anyone who saw the picture in this post of a tank

I think, they called this sort of Howitzer by the Munition they unsed ("150mm Gun"or so)
They have only names for there huge Guns like Big Bertha, Leopold or Karl the Great!

This is the Big Bertha.
The name is often misleadingly used for other german WW1-guns, e.g. the Paris Gun.

BTW this is one of my favorite custom Civ3-units and I'm using it in my game since you posted it. :goodjob:
