Along the borders of Deseret the Texans and Mormons fight skirmishes to figure out where their countries begin and end. The line is settled along the Rio Grande and the OTL American-Mexican border west of New Mexico.

Deseret accepts the peaceful acquisition of the Navajos and Pueblo Indians of the Arizona and Colorado regions. As well as the eventual acquisition of all Cheyenne territory in Wyoming in exchange for support against the fierce Souix nation which challenges Deseret's ability to protect the Cheyenne tribes.
