This has now happened to me 3 times. I'm pretty sure they have all happened when I'm playing America and I move a scout. After I tell the computer to move the scout, the game suddenly goes is in 1/100000000th speed slow motion, the music begins repeating like a scratched record, and I cannot do anything without waiting for probably hours (I have never waited that long, I always have to automatically shut down my computer!!)
Does anyone know what could be doing this?
By the way, I'm not positive about the connection between the three occurrances...I may just be jumping to conclusions...but I know all three of them were early on in the game (probably before 3000 BC) and the last time it happened I was America moving a scout...
