[Game thread] Smurf Mafia

Why me over NinjaCow?

Ninjacow is a guaranteed no-mislynch because he's admitted scum.

Getting folks to agree on a target for lynches, when we have no conclusive proof, is harder than choosing my own target.

We can always lynch Ninjacow. Getting folks to lynch you, if you're mafia, is much more difficult.

Also, need I remind that a unanimous vote here will ignore HP and ensure Ninjacow's death?

Are you looking for excuses not to vote Ninjacow?

I would say whoever redirected Pizza was actually trying to save NinjaCow.

This also works because the assumption is, thats who I'd target.

It's not necessarily about saving john unless Auto or Robbiecon did it. But even then, there poses a problem: That assumes three mafia remain.

So, something is not correct.

Alright, so johnhughthom, you were roleblocked last night by me using chocolate, unless I got redirected, which I have no reason to believe occurred. Ninjacow is scum. robbiecon is a role blocker. robbie, can you confirm you blocked ninjacow? If so, that leaves azzaman as the deflecter, unless atpg is lying and actually scum.

With six people left, if there were three scum, they'd have won, so johnhughthom is town. azzaman, are you a deflecter?

We lynch ninjacow today. Tonight, robbiecon blocks azzaman. atpg, you kill azzaman and I bomb you. If azzaman can redirect his own block, he has to direct it onto atpg to survive, but I ask that he doesn't. If my bombs are enough, atpg dies, azzaman dies, and town wins.
If they aren't, then we lynch atpg, regardless of azzaman's life or death state. robbiecon blocks azzaman and we lynch him in the morning.

I think this wins.

vote: Ninjacow

Anyone see a flaw?

How do we know robbiecon is a role-blocker? If he is actually a redirecter, that's the only situation in which azzaman isn't scum, that I can see. Unless ninjacow can redirect through blocks.

azzaman: I blocked johnhughthom via chocolate.

Has anyone else still alive ever been in possession of the chocolate? If so, please confirm what it does. Ideally, it'd be nice to figure out if there's a difference between the chocolate role block and robbie's role block.

I honestly don't get this.

Guys, in all seriousness, and in an OOC way, can we have a little talk?

1. I would have had to murder MartinLuther personally. MartinLuther wasn't totally inactive, so he would have had to sign off on this move too. And Ninjacow.
2. I would have had to sign on to Ninjacow's admitting to being mafia.

When he is lynched unanimously today, I have to expect to survive the rest of the game on my own, as the only killer remaining.

In what universe does any of this make sense?

3. Why would I claim to be a killer so early, to risk being scanned guilty, on top of everything else?

Every time you call me mafia right now, I die a little inside. It's either disingenuous or really sad.

Ha ha. I had been thinking bsmith was a convenient kill if you are scum, and that was a nice way of killing him without being scummy about it!

To expand on this, BSmith voted for Pizza yesterday and seemed to be suspicious of him. When I first read pizza's quoted pm from Kennigit I thought that seemed very convenient and checked the rules.

1. No screenshots or quoting/forwarding any PM from the GM. Obviously some PMs are simple--i.e. "you roleblocked X last night successfully"--so you can quote it but no screenshots or forwarding that PM to anyone else. Just be reasonable.

To me, the 'be reasonable' part of that would indicate faking a result pm is against the spirit of the rules, if not the letter, so I discounted the idea. What do the rest of you think?

A two mafia team universe?

I think it refers to no quoting your initial role PM or any GM-player privy information.

I presume we're allowed to tell each other the results of night actions.
