Game Tracking Thread

Tried to preload Civ5 off Steam and something whacked my internet connection. :aargh:
I'd like to use a few choice words, but that would not be setting a good example.

The games are now up.

The game is still down Dave, I couldn't connect.

Confirmed that the games are still down. PM'd Dave again.

It was just working now, and went down again.

Hmm, not sure exactly what broke the games, thought getting the cable modem talking to the router again would do it. Went through a worrisome moment there when the desktop wouldn't talk to the router at all, much less the outside world. Have been planning to replace the current flaky router with a newer model for a while, might just have to do that. :(

If it was alive, then there's hope... I took the server processes down since all the clocks had ticked down while it was disconnected.

Edit: back up, try to connect please...

This game's working, but the other two still aren't.

This time it was Windows Update, which I incorrectly thought was set to "download only".
I took the opportunity to make the router change, since the game was down anyway.

I *think* it is set up correctly, but I paused it just in case. Have to go to work, will restart the other two games after work, and after someone posts they can get into it. If the forum is up that is, looks like our server is currently stretched to the breaking point with the Civ5 release.

I was able to log in, save a game, and log out. Seems fine.

Wartime move order per the double move rule:

Phase 1: 40:00 - 20:00
AMAZON
Quatronia

Phase 2: 19:59 - 0:00
Merlot

If you dogpile on any of the above teams, you will be assigned the opposite slot.

My computer crashed when I was logged in, I hope I didn't crash the game as well.
