[GS] Gathering Storm Screenshots Discussion Thread

I would say that Pamukkale's bonuses change according to what districts are build adjacent to it.

If it was a natural wonder, it wouldn't be listed separately for faith though. That makes no sense.

Yes it would. It gives +2 on top of being a Natural Wonder.

Hmm, I guess it could if the yields are +2 faith, science and gold or as you say it can change. Either way, interesting.

Yeah, I noticed it too, seems they are darker over water.
Does look like it

But Pamukkale IS natural wonder. I dont understand how it could be anything else.

I would posit that if you were to build a Holy Site next to Pamukkale, it would *probably* give you +4 faith adjacency (+2 from being an NW + an additional +2 from its inate adjacency bonuses). the +2 from Natural Wonders and the +2 from being next to Pamukkale are two separate (I would guess cumulative) bonuses, hence why they are listed separately.

In the trailer, they have the Maori leader (with his ta moko) sailing towards new land...could this mean that they will have the wayfinding ability after all?

Also noticed in the trailer people farming corn. Could be corn as a separate resource.

Her double adjacency for Harbors is pretty awesome for coastal cities, because that applies to the Production bonus from Shipyards.

I hope not. Carthage has so many amazing leader choices; it would be disappointing to choose a semi-mythical queen twice in a row. Hannibal or pretty much any Magonid woul

d be my choice.

Hmm. it looks like this is a replacement for the warmongering system. Declare a Surprise War usually has "Warmongering Penalty : Moderate".

Unique barbarian graphics or am I just seeing things?

Here's a closer look, it's easy to miss the back half if you don't zoom in.

Almost everything about this to me screams Cahokia, but a closer look at the buildings show wooden structures instead of stone structures, which mean it could be something else. It's not quite a Maori Pa however.

Very zoomed in version. That looks like a figure in gold on the front of the pillar. I'm thinking buddhist temple from the imagery.

Not a Buddhist temple. Aspects of the architecture remind me of Islam, but certainly not Buddhist, or Hindu for that matter. Buddhist and Hindu architecture is nothing like this. I wouldn't say it's Sikh either, as Sikh temples tend to look quite different that that too.

The Monks Mound at Cahokia doesn't have stone structures on top....

A leak I'm still skeptical of.

Honestly this list is worse than the last one, happily ditching Atahualpa and Roxelana notwithstanding.
I will agree to disagree. Although I would rather replace Canada with Colombia.
Honestly this feels more true due to Assembling Typhoon rightfully predicting certain things including these Civs and the World Congress, and then has mysteriously disappeared. And his name basically means "Gathering Storm".
