Trebuchets only have a +10% bonus versus cities. I believe that variable's intended to be +100%. Not sure if it also applies to other siege weapons.

Other unrelated things - one of the tradition policies is supposed to build 5 culture buildings in your oldest (first) five cities, however it only does this for the first four.

I'm no expert but if you go into the GEA_Promotions.xml file in \GEM\Armies and search for PROMOTION_CITY_SIEGE, you can see that the variable "Set CityAttack" is set to 10. I suppose if you change that to 100 it should fix the glitch without messing anything else up.

My guess there is that it is reading the 10% swords city bonus instead. Check it tomorrow if its still unresolved. Easy way would be to rename the swords promotion.

Sounds like tooltip text error on the policy.

I'm not sure if this is related but on the same file if you look for PROMOTION_CITY_ASSAULT under Set PediaEntry its set to "TXT_KEY_PROMOTION_CITY_ASSUALT." I"m not at home right now so I can't test it out, but maybe fixing that typo will solve the bug?

For what its worth it looks like its just a glitch in the tooltip, and the attack bonus is working as intended.

That's good to know.
I was using them to attack the Babylonian capital, and they weren't making a lot of impact, so I was wondering - but them Babylonians make big walls.

This is fixed in Gem v1.6.7. I had included the tooltip changes in v1.6.0, but not the gameplay changes yet, which led to some discrepancies in tooltips. I decided to not change the tooltips since they'd be accurate one week later. Trebuchets have the same +50%/-50% attribute in GEM as they did in VEM. :)
