General Turn Discussion

Would not suprise me...especially if they were chopped. That would explain the lack of workers for Kaz and the need to slave now.

Just shows how much of a priority Kaz has placed on diplomacy for this game. Can't say I blame 'em. We should make sure we benefit from their exploration, as opposed to falling behind due to trades with "others".

barbs arn't letting up.

I'm unsure which way is best; we'll get a double move next turn if Barentz goes S W, but we may not have a double move the turn after (I don't think we will), but then again we don't know enough of the south to make a judgement call there either, where the only option is S SE, onto the pigs ubnless we want to get stuck in the peaks. And if we do go S W, then we only have at most 1 turn without a double move.

Eh, west makes more sense for the immediate future, but we do need to be heading south at some point soon.

If we go S SE, then E then we can double move again in the jungle. It also shows us what that "coastal" (lake) tile is.

bu then we don't explore more around the horses.

this is a tough call. the more people we have to vote on it the better!

Well moving S is basically free so no harm in doing that, but if that doesn't change this decision appreciably I guess E afterward.

Sometimes I mix up East and West. I also have occasional trouble with right and left. Also I sometimes think that moving onto a forest hill is a free move. Other than that I stand by my previous post.

yeah, I screw up east/west and left/right quite a bit myself. Not good when figuring out chirality...

I think East is wrong - that puts us on desert. SE puts us on the pig hill (those are pigs, right?). South puts us on what I think is another hill. W puts us on the desert hill. SW puts us in a valley, probably desert or FP.

I'm beginning to think SE, E, and at least see what is around the horses - take another turn or two to really explore there, then head south.

I'd assume it's either Kaz or Cav south of us (Cavallieros is the other team Kaz met, right?)

I said in the explore thread I like S>W...setting up NW>???....lets get the horse site figured out.

South of Barentz....we have a peak(2S), DesHill(221), hills(223,233), and that sure looks like coastal water to the east.

We need to go through the gaps in the east range I think.

2S is a peak. S SW is a hill, probably desert, with a peak W, SW, S and E of that tile, so there would only be two optons where to move, and one of them might be a peak, so S SW is possibly the worst way to move, as S SE would make it possible to move to that tile any way, uncover more FoW and provide other options anyway.

I never said S>SW...I like S>W

Yes then, very bad AT....what a silly option you proposed...:sarcasm:

the only 2 options (to not be silly) are:

1. S ==> W (which would be the same as a SW move, but might as Well go S first as it potentially reveals more tiles)

2. S ==>SE (onto the pigs)

Much as I want to find out more infor about the coast/lake, I think for right now S->W makes more sense. It sets up NW->? and then he could just return the same route if we don't want to continue West (or we spot what we need).

I agree.....:agree:
