Whilst i can be quite hyper amongst friends generally I am slightly bothered/unhappy due to my unemployed status and a couple of other things..

I'm mostly stoic. I'm a little happy most of the time, but I'm immune to being really unhappy.

Usually ranging from "slightly bothered/unhappy" to "slightly carefree/happy". It's relatively easy for me to get really happy, though, and really difficult to get really unhappy.

normal to quite happy.

Happy because I m getting married this year. (Or should I be worried? hehe)
Happy because I am almost done with my studies at the university
Happy because I ll earn some real money soon (as opposed to pocket money I get from working at IKEA part time)
Worried because I fear my exams

Congratulations! :goodjob:

Exams are not to be feared, lest the fear overwhelms you and degrades your true ability to excel :crazyeye:

Last month I was quite sad. This month I keep toggling between quite happy and slightly bothered/unhappy. Next month...

Why is it that when I reflect on being happy, I cannot figure out why there was a reason to be happy? :crazyeye:

You don't need a reason to be happy. :)
But to get sad you need a reason. :(

I don't see any reason for me to be sad when the biggest problem in my life thus far has been to choose between going to UCLA or going to UC Berkeley. The young life is the good life.

My happiness has little to do with what is going on in my life. Right now I have lots of things hanging over my head, and I am miserable - but I am miserable, usually, when I don't have upcoming deadlines or decision. Every once in a while the planets and my brain chemicals will align to make me feel happy, and I don't question it, but the norm is a vague feeling of impending doom.

Life is great, I'm quite happy with my piece of it.

2 great sons, an awesome wife, no debt, a moderately successful business, good friends, everything I need, and a good chunk of what I want.

I'd have chosen "Ecstatic", but I try not to get too high on my good fortune.
