If I wave the American flag in California I get death threats.

I once put an American flag on my lawn and it was slashed in half by next morning.

The Germans have nothing to fear. I doubt anyone would care if they waived their flag.

I've also had my car keyed because I had a "Support the Troops" and a George W. Bush bumper sticker. They keyed my car, took the car magnet and wrote "F*** BUSH" ontop of my bumper sticker with a marker. This happens a lot actually, in my neighbourhood.

i believe that the germans should feel as proud to be german as the americans feel proud to be american . everyone, ideally, should be proud of where they come from, but sadly, that is not always the case.

thousands of people have changed their names, surnames and first names, to "conform" with their new country of residence. personally, i feel saddened by that. as i said further up "everyone, ideally, should be proud of where they come from, but sadly, that is not always the case"

Every countrymen of every country has the right and priveledge to be proud of their country, I say go for it
