RUSSIAN CAMPAIGN AGAINST FRANCE COMES TO AN END
After one year of cruel war, Russian Leader, Ivan Rastikov decided to finish this "vengeance campagin"
"I´d like to remember european leaders that Russia´s first goal was to put an end to the tyrannic monarchy that ruled in our country for generations. We embraced republican ideals due to its marvellous innovations and promises of a better future for us and our children."
"And we saw Napoleonic France as the ideal model. The one to admire and imitate. That´s why we decided to join forces and spread republican ideals to the rest of the old continent.
But yes, we made a mistake. We used the cannons instead of books."
"However, Russia was ready to go on fighting and accomplish these objectives, no matter the costs. But suddenly, France betrayed our confidence, our ideals. We couldn´t believe that this country, leader of the republican movement, changed horses in the midstream. That betrayal filled russian people with anger and desire of vengeance"
"I recognize it. The reason for this campagin was pure revenge. Nothing else..."

"And Russia doesn´t want to ignore requests made by other european houses, to come to the table in order to eliminate the risk of another pan European conflict.
That´s why Russia is ready to negotiate with the new French government."
"What we want? Just peace. Russia is sick and tired of these stupid and neverending wars. We are aware of france´s fragile economic situation, so we won´t ask for money...."

These are Russian demands:
* Keep control of Nicosia. Alexandria will return to french hands.
Obviously, peace treaty with France.
* Obtain the recognition of Europe regarding our rights over the cities of Mosul, Baghdad and Turkey.
* Peace treaty with Prussia.

"This is a draft, so we are ready to talk and negotiate about these conditions.
I´d like to hear your response as soon as possible"

Yours,
Ivan Rastikov

The Prussian government considered our nations to already be at peace.

Nice rhetoric, btw :)

The Prussian government considered our nations to already be at peace.
Why don´t you sign peace with me???
You haven´t changed your attitude towards Russia for more than a year... :(

*Austria is observing Russian initiative to end the armed struggle in Asia minor and the Northern African Coastline with considerable benevolence, as a steady peace would be highly welcomed.

*Until a formal settlement between the conflicting parties the Austrian army remains at high alert in case of any unprecedented eventualities between Russia and France. "We feel that the persistent display of Austrian strength and will has influenced post-war events in a positive manner... therefor see the Russian initiative for reconciliatory peace as an incentive for Austria to upkeep such policies during future foreign conflicts." General v. Schneider

The treaties that the game stores itself surely aren't overly important, surely, as you just respect what has been agreed on in game? Blame ms's bad diplomacy modelling if you like. As far as i'm concerned we have a peace treaty.

Peace!

France agrees to Russias peace proposal. The French people can finally see the end of Napoleons terrible work. In accordance to Russias proposal, Alexandria is now back under French jurisdiction.

France honors agreement

The first payment (50) was sent to London this month, and several scientific works describing French inventions (i have given all the techs). We hope this will be proof of Frances intentions to honor its obligations.

Change of government

The French Monarchy is now officially no longer a part of the French governing system. France is now in the prosess of changing to a Republic.

A happy spring time for the people of Prussia, thousands flocked onto the streets to celebrate peace in Europe and give praise to the Chancellor.

Prussian industry has almost caught up with its productivity prior to war, hopefully a period of peace will allow for even greater economic expansion.

We hope Britain will use part of the French reparations payment to return the small sum of 50 gold lent during a period of crisis for the English.

-50 Gold repaid
-Britain is pleased to see Peace descend upon Europe.

Winter:
One more time, could you retreat your troops from russian borders? If you want to invade my country, just say it. ok? You know that i´m ready to fight.

Edit:
I´d like to hear your answer before playing my turn...

IVAN RASTIKOV - TSAR ALEXANDER MEETING!!!
After more than one year of living in exile, Tsar Alexander returned to russian soil. Yestreday, a secret meeting took place in St. Petersburg, between the former russian ruler and the current consul of the republic, Ivan Rastikov.
Some advisors declared that the objective of these talks was to reform russian republic; in other words, to amalgamate the old monarchy with the new republican ideals.
Rastikov´s secretary admitted that "our consul is concerned about the future of the russian republic. People feel betrayed in some way; prosperity and peace had been promised... but we have only seen war, disease and chaos"
"That´s why Rastikov decided that to ensure the survival of the revolution, representatives of all social classes must forget their old disputes and unite for the future of Russia."
It´s believed that sooner or later a new form of government will rise in Russia... a Parliamentary Monarchy perhaps???

In other news:
New elite force created: "The Sacred Order of Russian Lancers"
It´s formed by 4 regiments. More expect to join the group.

*Austria retreats the core of its troops bordering the Russian provinces of Belowrussia and Ukraine

*Second monthly payment issued to Prussia

*Bomb attacks on the War Ministry in Vienna: In the early hours of wednesday three masked men attacked the public building with explosive charges. 6 citizens were killed on the spot, amongst them an officer of the imperial guard baring a suitcase. While two of the assailants were able to escape item in hand, the last murderer was killed in a firefight with the gendarmerie. It is believed that separartist Serbians were behind the attack, fueled in their radical believes out of recent talks about Russia implementing a parliamentary monarchy. Sarajevo is in the meantime undergoing retaliation procedures, to make clear that any support for action against the monarchy will not stand.
