France proclaimed a Republic!

France is now officially a Republic. Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets celebrating this incredible event. Several new branches of the governement have been created, including a new ministry of Science, Foreign affairs, Defense and Economics.

Napoleon was sentenced to life in prison for his crimes against humanity. Him remainding years will be spent in a prison in La Valetta.

The French army will over the next two years be reformed to a more modern and smaller army. The new government and new economic strains on the ecomony requires a strict limitations to the size of the French army. But there will be allocated recources to rebuild parts of the French navy. But the size during the years under Napopleon will not be a goal, perhaps about 1/4 th.

Second monthly payment issued to Britain.

Hi everybody.
I would be glad to join your illustrious round if I'm allowed to.

Hi Overlord!
Personally, i don´t have a problem. If you want to join us, do it.

Ok I think it's time someone removes the passwords from the game and we have Overlord take over for Prussia.

Thank you for the welcome.

Password removing anyone?

Well guys I won't read through all these pages but I realized there was a war and my predecessor won it so we receive gold (Hooray:) ). Furthermore I assume all hostile actions are over. Think I got everything right.

And the file:

Yep, there was a nice, brutal war between France and England- after France became too powerful and close to eliminate Britain the Two German States and Russia joined forces against France. At the turning point of the war Russia split from the Alliance and in turn used its large capital resources to build up a mighty fleet and attack army- the War between France and Germany ended without the British and Spanish question being resolved, as Russian armies invaded both the Prussian and Austrian soft underbellies. Prussia fought hard against the Russian betrayer (the new Russian Republic). Austria aided Prussia after it recuperated from the blow (the Monarchy fell, was replaced by and interim Republican Chamber, only to be replaced by the Monarchy again). Prussia was able to sign peace with Russia and return to prewar borders, Austria conquered most of the Balkans.

In the meantime, France aimed at showing Britain of the map again- in Spain, and after Britain refused to surrender also on British soil. Prussia, being allied to Britain, opened hostilities against France- Austria, despite simpathising with France in general could not allow a full fletched French counterattack against its ally. The Austrian armies preferred to bind French troops and take non-economical, yet strategic positions from the French. In between this entire chaos conflict broke out between France and Russia in Turky, Egypt and Palestine; cease fire having been signed recently, as a result of international pressure.

Europe is at peace :) (Prussia has been a small but quite aggressive lil fellow both in attack as in defense, and has never given in but used every resource at its disposal. Recently the closely knit alliance between Austria and Prussia has been strained, as a result of Austrian reluctance to fight the French... that reminds me; I still owe Prussia $100 in war loans)

Obviously, that´s the austrian version of the story.
Remember, only the winners write our history ;)
If you want to listen russian version, just send me a PM :)
