The Russian Federation has begun its preparations for war. As orders are given out to division after division to re-locate to the southern border and pilots conduct military maneuvers a few meters from UIS airspace everyone is feeling the tension.
After the UIS refused to release Russian citizens and insisted on continuing demands President Naryshkin personally issued the following statement to the World Community:
"My Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that I have to address you today. We are on the brink of War. A War that will lead to deaths of millions and millions of people. I do not want this war, and I have postponed it as long as my power allows, and now I must ask you - the World Community - to do your part to prevent this war.
The United Islamic State claims that there have been Russian espionage missions within the UIS. They support these claims with what they call evidence - arresting and tourturing Russian citizens that have not had time to leave their countries. After extensive tourture these citizens admitted to espionage because they were promised a prison sentance and not a death penalty the way the Islamic Law requires. And based on this evidence now the UIS is pushing for war.
I am personally not convinced one bit by that evidence because I know that if I ordered tourtures of Muslims I could get them to plead guilty to a UIS consipracy to destroy Russia, but it would not mean that there is one. I hope that the International Community sees my point and realizes that the UIS claims are unfounded.
Furthermore, the UIS has abused human rights of Russian citizens in its countries. They have been illeagaly imprissoned, tourtured, and sentanced to long prison terms. They were not allowed defence attourneys, and the trials were not public. Now, after they have already sentanced them, the UIS government is changing the sentance to a death penalty. Apparantly not even the puppet UIS courts could give out a punishment hursh enough for the UIS government to be satisfied. And what is worse, the UIS government has openly admitted to this conduct, has condoned it, and has promised to continue it and to increase the number and the severity of the violations.
Being the Russian President I cannot sit by and watch as Russian citizens are tourtured. First of all because they elected me to protect them, secondly because they are my comrades, and thirdly because I am a human being who holds human rights of all people as sacred. And I believe that the International Community has enough people who are willing to stand up against barbaric human rights violations and to stand together with Russia to protect all people's rights.
A number of nations have already pledged their full support for the Russian Federation, including military action against the UIS. I sincerely hope that it will not come to this, and I ask the International Community to place sufficient pressure on the UIS to return Russian citizens to Russia and to apologize for the violations of human rights of Russian citizens. If these conditions are met the crisis will be averted. I have done my best, and now it is up to you my friends to show your support and to force the UIS to listen to reason.

After the address the President was asked if he would authorize the use of WMDs against the UIS if it will come to War. He did not respond clearly, only stating that he wishes to avert war, but that Russian Missiles have been placed on alert because it is necessary to protect Russian citizens.

In response to the Russiajn President's address the Islamic Foreign Ministries would like to point out several things.
1. The Russian citizens in question have been found guilty by an open and public court with full legal representation of the crime of espionage. It is not the United Islamic State's fault that the Russian Federation did not send legal representation for those citizens now imprisoned.
2. The United Islamic States has a full and comprehensive list of Russian espionage missions within our territory and we will be willing to release such a list to nations that ask for it through their embassies (pm)
3. We reiterate that the United Islamic States is NOT the aggressor in a war that would occur with the Russian Federation. We will not attack them unless attacked, we have no conducted espionage in their territory, we have been content to leave them alone as long as they give us the same courtesy, unfortuantley the Russian mindset is that they rule the world and were unable to leave the United Islamic States to be content in its own peace.
4. We have not abused any human rights of Russian citizens in our nations, but we remind the Russian Federation that these citizens were expelled legally from the United Islamic States and therefore were in our territory illegaly in the first place.
5. If other nations wish to support the Russian Federation we will again not attack them unless they attack us. However we remind the world that the Russian Federation has troops around the world, it has pursued an aggresive campaign of imperialism since the end of World War Three and will not stop its 'We are the world rulers' menatality until proven otherwise.

To do so over the capture of their spies in the United Islamic States is as the Russians say not kultruny, Our greiveances are simple. All we wish for is an apology for Russian intellgence operations in our territory, the promise not to do them anymore and a withdrawal of Russian troops from the border regions of our nations. Direct negotiation between Russia and the UIS seems to have broken down (an optimistic analysis). Therefore Argentina recommends a round of negotiations administered by the international community to hopefully cool things off. If both sides can present their case without being immediately rejected by the other side, the committee of neutral nations can come up with a recommendation that hopefully both powers will be satisfied with. We recognize the urgency both sides feel in righting the interests they feel have been violated, but urge you to consider how much to stand to lose by rushing into war and how much you stand to gain by making every effort to peacefully diffuse the situation. Millions of lives are potentially at stake and tens or hundreds of millions risk being negatively affected. The decisions you make now will determine what happens to the lives of your countrymen and the lives of what are, after all, your neighbors. We ask neutral countries to step forward and volunteer to help mediate the disagreement. We ask the UIS and Russia to not initiate any hostilities and agree to attend the conference and make a full faith effort to consider the suggestions offered and try to come away from the conference with a peaceful and mutually acceptable solution.

PC Stats should be done, but I have not taken into effect the recently completed projects, which I will be doing, along with NPC stats, when I get a chance next. When that shall be, eh, im not sure. The next 3 days look like wall-to-wall lack of NESing time. The Next Update, well, I cannot say until Thursday, when I get, in theory, my next schedule. but it looks . . . violent??
