yes, the new video is fun, but I still prefer the first one (This Land). My favorite part is Clinton too.

Because I'm non-American, I'm sure I missed lots of private jokes. Especially can someone explain me who is the guy with a pink "Gay" T-Shirt ? Is he someone famous ?

And by the way, is this jibjab associated with a party (like move-on.org) or is this just for fun ?

That would be Governor James McGreevey, a Democrat from the great state of New Jersey. Not being a native of that state, I can only relate what I remember from the scandal a few months ago, but I found this information as well from Foxnews.com and the Wikipedia ~ The Governor 'came out' at a press conference on August 13, 2004 with the announcement that he was indeed gay and that he had an extramarital affair with a man that he said threatened to undermine his 'ability to govern' (read into that whatever you will). He also announced his resignation which will take place this November 15, conveniently 2 weeks after the election. Now whether this helps or hurts the Democrats on Election Day (November 2) remains to be seen.

Did he have to resign? Who knows for certain. Since he is choosing to do so, the full ramifications of the scandal will probably never come to light and that may be best for all concerned. Unless he decides to write a book..

As far as I know, Jibjab is a completely independent website that just makes funny videos. They don't seem to really possess any inherent political leanings, and I understand their videos have been seen on the Tonight show as well as other outlets.

It was mainly focusing on kerry being "gay".
It only attacked bush in the begining, focusing on untrue facts about kerry (yet again)

as funny as it was, i don't think the jibjab bothers realize thier consertive slant
