PTW 1.21 Open for this little Peanut ...

After surviving and WINNING Game 20 on Diety without being attacked once, and with (almost) every civ adoring me, I will strut boldly and arrogantly ** into Game 21 believing myself to be an Open Class Master !

Unfortunately my pathetic skills at prosecuting an ancient age war will probably see me turned into an amphora of Peanut Oil in short order ... but here goes I anyway !

** that's if I can get it to work that is - last night it crashed on loading. Aargh ! It cruelly tantalised me with a little blob on the minimap - then it croaked. If a rebuild doesn't work tonight folks then it's email time for me.

I'll admit it. Since this is my first crack at the GOTM, I've decided to take it easy on myself and play PTW 1.21f Conquest. I've won only 1 of the five Monarch games I've tried so I will see if the bonus items at the start will make any difference.

Since I missed the deadline for QSC20 and didnt finish GOTM20 in time, I'm probably going down the rankings faster than an elephant in free fall. Maybe I'll be in the bottom 50% now.....

GoTM virgin. Never submitted, rarely played.

Going for spaceship cos Ive never lasted that long ever; my fellow civs seem to develop a nasty habit of dying out.

(Last month Joan let me down, having built UN in about 1450 she abstained despite only surviving through my kindness, that meant no overall majority and then i ran out of time).

But this month I am determined.

Well, After playing the GOTM 20 for a bit. Though I kick myself for not compleating the game and submiting it. Tecnicly this will be my first GOTM save. I have gave GOTM 20 Conquest class a try. Right now I beleve I am ready to play the open Version of the game .

Altough i suspect i'll never have time to finish by spaceship or any other victory condition, unless some miracle occurs Submitted GotM 20 about 1 hour before the deadline and it was diplo victory + smaller map.
