[Graphic Mod] Varietas Delectat v9.2 [civ specific unit sets]

Ok, I couldn't keep not working on it, so I present you a bit more reworked Roman Quinquereme (it's still not the one I wanted, but an improvement over the previous...)

ok you took the best units for your mod, great!
just a few question:
did you change the "mexicans units(who is not accurate for this kind of mod)" for mesoamerican units(in late area)?
When i have seen your list of the new units, i had a bad feeling(there is so much unit), is your mod add new units(change the game system) or just change graphics models for existing units?
And finnaly, thank you for your mod!

VD doesn't have any gameplay changes. The list is a mix of units added to VD and the Modern Era Expansion mod (which has new unit classes and techs), but that is a separate addon.

As for the mexican, brazilians, etc. it's always a hard decision (due to the fact that bernie14 made some brilliant models), but currently those are not added. There's some influence thou, since I'm using brazilian tank for the Incas, have a Mexican looking modern general for the Aztecs, so it's (unfortunately or not) not a clean issue.
 
Looks good, just dont use the WoC format and do what Mamba did on his stuff(added to many WoC ways makes it to difficult to use)(personal opinion), i like it just as an add-on, is all.
Sorry to thread--jack slightly, but mamba offers two versions; one for WoC and one for normal BtS. :D
 
Seems like your skills in unit modding (graphical stuff) have really improved. I just got an idea. Recently I found this picture:

According to the webpage it is typical clothing for Székelys (for non-Hungarians: Székelys are a group of Hungarians living in Transylvania). I saw this sort of cap several times when they show something about Székelyföld on TV and I think there are units in the game 1848 with similar clothing. On the other side I was unable to find photographs of people wearing clothes like that. Maybe I used wrong keywords. I never have been in Transylvania myself, so I don't whether the page is right and this is or was typical for Székelys or not (or maybe they have copied some romanian clothing - man, that is blasphemy). However, my idea was to use that as unique medieval worker art for Hungary. As such it could be useful for your Hungary module of VD as well and I would have some Székely element for my mod as well (which I always wanted to have). Unfortunately I am unable to create a unit like that. I only would be if there would be units that wear similar clothes. Then I could put something together. But to create something totally new was never my strength due to my lack of creativeness. Do you think, that...
a) you could need a unit like that for your module and
b) you could create a unit like that?

I would be interested in a changelog of your Hungary module as well. I plan to upload a new version of my mod within a week. Maybe you have some useful material... I mean it's not necessary to invent the bike again and again, right? I have also requested some ancient hungarian units from Bakuel and something for the new Szent István LH from Methyl. Both have accepted. I'll write them a pm soonly to see what's the progress. So, maybe we can have an exchange of information about this topic in either my mods or your VD Hungary modules thread?
 
Luckily, I've still found over 30 units to evaluate/add...

What would you do with your free time, if you won't find more and more units to add? :)
 
For the Roman Quinquereme I wanted the forward sail to be at the forward end of the ship (as it looks now in Nifviewer or Nifscope), but ingame it's still vanilla... :(

talented, no idea (i don´t think so :D - if i see my painting skills) - but did i miss the file? [i´m almost sure that the position is reseted in the animation - have you tried to play an animation in nifscope?]
