I would if I knew where the DXDIAG is to be found.

Open your start menu (the circle in the lower left corner of your desktop on the taskbar) and type dxdiag in the Search programs and files box.

You'll see DxDiag at the top under Programs.

Double click the link.

This opens the Direct X Diagnostic Tool window.

Click the box that reads save all information.

It will then collect the information and then you save the text file in your documents, or where ever you want.

Post that text document here as an attachment.

Apparently not.

Unfortunately, that's the game settings, not your dxdiag. Go to your START menu in Windows, and type "DXDIAG" in the search line. When the tool pops up, click "Save all information". That's the file we need. Thanks!

Hi,

I am also getting an occasional graphics problem - it looks like minor lightning rays or giant, extra long sun rays - flashing around the screen when I move my mouse.

Attached is my dxdiag file.

On the positive side, I am no longer randomly seeing red & white checkerboard backgrounds when leader heads gets displayed. This is a tremendous improvement!!!

Hi

I'm also getting the same problem of the grey squares, also occasionally (after a period of about an hour or so) black squares with red lower left corners form which take much longer to go away. I've also noticed that since the patch the game has been putting a hell of a lot more strain on the gpu. I've had to lower settings because the extra noise generated was ridiculous.

Hi

I'm also getting the same problem of the grey squares, also occasionally (after a period of about an hour or so) black squares with red lower left corners form which take much longer to go away. I've also noticed that since the patch the game has been putting a hell of a lot more strain on the gpu. I've had to lower settings because the extra noise generated was ridiculous.

Same here, with some random black square tiles (not hex) that do not refresh.
When running with all minimun settings I have no issues. With all max settings without AA, still got issues. It appears to be something related to texture management size.

Sadly I do not think that this can be rolled back, Steam doesn't allow it, and the Steam forums are packed with people having this issue and many others. Makes me wish that gameplay changes were compulsory but engine properties were optional so balance in multiplayer games is preserved but silly things like this don't happen (although there are probably hundreds of reasons this wouldn't work in practice...)

Can someone explain how this can be a graphics driver issue? It is affecting both AMD and Nvidea drivers at the same level.

You can't be sure that it's at the same level, the underlying problem might be different for both cases .
