Graphics Modification Requests Thread

I have a rather morbid request: a Nazi concentration camp. I'm tinkering with a World War 2 mod, need a unique building for the Nazi German civilization, and can't think of anything more symbolic of their evil than to replace jails with death camps. I found one for Civilization 3 here, but don't know how to port it over to Civ 4.

Is there a mod for replacing the stock roads with smaller (Thinner), less conspicious ones, in either light brown or grey? If so would someone please post a link to any such mods or graphic files. Any assistance greatly appreciated. I remember downloading such roads long ago, but have since purchased a new computer and reinstalled Civ IV. Thanks in advance!!

I would be delighted if someone could make graphics for a certain planned UB. I would like the Scots to have the "couthal" or Comhdhail as a UB; what this is is a court. It held either hearings on either local matters, conducted by men called judices (Breitheamh) or by the King's Justiciar when he was in the area. These courts were held in Scotland north of the river Forth until the end of the Middle Ages. A "couthal" was the normal location for these courts. Very often, these courts are held in the vicinity of "standing stones" (usually a Pictish stone) and took place on a small hill or mound. So what I'd envisage would be a little hill with a Pictish stone or something similar. Anything semi-convincing would be appreciated.

BTW, as such hills or meeting places are ubiquitous in the Celtic and Germanic world of the middle ages, such a creation would be of much broader utility than just a Scottish ub.

Very easy request: I'm making a Mod, and i've got a picture that i want to use as a background. However, all .dds converters i can find are windows onl, which is a pain since i'm running a mac OS.

I was wondering of anyone with a .dds converter would consider just converting my image then sending it back to me, say in a message or e-mail.

Using BTS they changed the roads to perhaps look more normal, but it's more difficult to tell the difference between the modern roads and railroads. I find myself having to mouseover tiles to see if it still has a road or railroad.

Are there any mods out there that change the color/style to easily distinguish between them?

Here's an oldie but it should still work as I don't remember any xml changes being involved, just dds files.

Scroll thru the threads for various versions and you should see one you like. Personally, I use the ones in post#9 for my modpack.

Been browing around the forum and can't find any leaderheads of him though to me it's incredible since Spain needs a 2nd leader and Philip is a better 1st leader choice than Isabella IMHO.

When you mouseover stacks you get the grey box with all the units that appears in the lower left corner of the screen. Has anyone worked on making this box go further across the screen so the unit type, strength, owning civ etc all fits on one line?

I'd like to see some alternative terrains/forests... maybe badlands/painted desert as an alternative to the current desert terrain (could also work well for a Mars environmnet with some tweaks). I'd also like to see some new types of trees for forests and maybe swamps and mangrove forests.

Glad to hear you are working on Philip II of Spain. I was going to try my hand at him for the BtS version of my modpack but I don't have anywhere near the talent that you, bernie14, C Roland, & Chuggi have ( that doesn't say a whole hell of alot for me, does it? ) so I will anxiously wait to see what you come up with.

Are you using Van Oranje as a base?
