Graphics problem (Not Chesire Cat!)

The game runs fine except for one problem: The terrain colors are all screwed up! Deserts are white, grasslands are yellow, and oceans are either black or black/light blue striped. What can be done to fix this?

I've got a Radeon 7500 w/ latest drivers, and everything else is well within minimum requirements.

I have a similar problem. It most likely means a layer of texturing is not occuring when you have it zoomed in. When I zoom the map out, I can see the terrain, but the water squares become black rectangles. Again, I think that's a texturing problem. Try doing this and see if you get the same result. If so, there's something about your graphics card not being able to process the textures correctly. Not really sure about a solution yet. I'm still working on it. Hopefully a patch will help here too.

I have this but put it down to my ATI Radeon Mobility only being 32MB?
