The tech tree lines are so illogical!

    Example offenses:
    • Banking requires Education. Education requires Apprenticeship. So why is there another arrow from Apprenticeship to Banking?
    • Apprenticeship to Gunpowder
    • Economics and Scientific Theory. Why is there a line under Scientific Theory to prerequisites of Scientific Theory?
    • Rifling is misaligned with everything after it
    • Combined Arms, Combustion. Steel.

    Has any work addressed this?

The arrow from Apprenticeship to Banking is initially the arrow from Apprenticeship to Gunpowder, then it "combines" with the arrow Education to Banking, then when the Apprenticeship arrow deviates right before Gunpowder, the arrow is actually only Education to Banking. Basically the prerequisites don't line up, the arrows get combined and it all leads to a confusing mess. This is the answer to Economics (Metal Casting causes the line underneath)
Combined Arms is actually a mistake of coding. Like the code actually states Combined Arms requires Steel and Combustion (And Combustion requires Steel).

I'm personally always put off by Iron Working to Castles not actually being required.....
