I like to read in bed. I've gone through a number of reading pillows but they all get gross in short order. They don't fit in the washing machine. I can't find any with covers. It all pisses me off. What should I do, CFC, what should I do?

Don't use a pillow maybe. Try a small beanbag that works like a pillow with linen instead of Velcro or some other derivative

They make beanbags with covers? If there's no cover, not sure that'd work.

Just put a linen cover on a beanbag :p Sure it wouldn't be a perfect contour but you could seal it with a few pins or something

Well what kind of pillow do you use right now?

How about using a "king" pillow vertically behind you and wash the cover as needed.

How about going down to your local sewing club and offering to pay to have one of the nice old ladies sew you up a nice cover for your fav reading pillow.

Not being one to give partial advice advice, I suggest this place:

Shower before getting to bed every night/Get pillows with pillowcases/Get a larger washing machine?

Buy a sheet/blanket for $5. Put it over the reading pillow, and then wash that.
Won't work, sheet/blanket will come off and then it will get dirty.

Find another hobby to practice in your bed,
That's part of the problem, everything in my bed needs to be cleaned more regularly.

Have the maid read to you as you rest your head in her lap? No need for reading pillow!

But what would I read then?
