Great Random Leader Combo's

Tokugawa of the Ottoman Empire (or France for that matter) had potential. I like having three free promotions on a gunpowder unit then the experience they come out of the city with...

Tokugawa of England can't be bad either. Combat I, Drill I, CG I Redcoats. A more "aggressive" version of Churchill I'd say. ;)

Darius of the Malinese is pretty good, money forges+organized+financial = you're two full eras ahead of the AI on noble and eventually take over the world with tanks against musketmen.

And the Skirmishers should buy you some time until you can lightbulb Machinery and get Crossbows. Maybe as well getting to Feudalism faster as well...

Hmm, the Malinese start with Mining and the Wheel, BW, Agriculture, Pottery, MC, build a forge go for an Engineer to Lightbulb Machinery.

In the hundred turns or so, then you co for IW and beeline CoL then Feudalism...

The Idea is to be untouchable...

Anyone Organized and HRE, I like Asoka (Spi/Org) personally. Gotta love the Rathaus built 2x as fast.

Bismark (Exp/Ind) of India, huge synergy with fast workers and expansive. Overall a bigtime wonderking.

Anyone Charasmatic and Mongolia, for some even more potent Keshiks.

Anyone Charasmatic and Mongolia, for some even more potent Keshiks.

That does not end with Keshiks. With Vassalage, Theocracy, a barracks, a Ger and a GG in the city, that's 13 exp on any mounted unit. War Elephants with Combat III and Shock? Knights with Flanking II, Combat I and Shock? Maybe even Pinch for Cuirassers or Cavalry...
