This is a small graphics bug I guess.
When playing a game, I zoom out to a top down view (not globe view), and can see the green growth coming off the rivers on flood plains tiles, even in the unexplored blackness. I can pretty much see where all the flood plains are on the map. It has happened both before and after I installed 1.52 patch. It also happened on the demo of civ4 I played a little bit ago.
I have a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX card and 512 mb ram. The game is otherwise pretty playable (on small maps). Has any one else experienced this?
Another small graphics bug(?) I experienced was that whenever I selected to view the food/production/commerce icons on the tiles, instead of little bread slices, hammers, and coins, the game would randomly show either one or two food icons on all tiles that gave anything. It was aparently random, as I saw grasslands with one icon sometimes, and saw plains with two. I even saw desert hills showing two food icons. Thankfuly, this bug was fixed with the 1.52 patch.
