It doesn't much look like Port-au-Prince to me, but I wouldn't rule out the city being Haitian. But I'm pretty sure it is in the Caribbean. If it isn't, I'll eat my hat.

Nah, although it feels tropical... I don't think such a big city (if it's as big as it seems) would have so little skyscrapers, not in the West. And I know it's not Kuala Lumpur, or Singapur, or Hong Kong, or Shanghai, or... hmm Jakarta?
