Actually there was a funny little show on TG4 (our national Irish language channel) where a Chinese student over here for a year learnt only Irish before coming over because it's our national language.
I think this one's close enough. Countries with a national language whose written script originated within that country. Pink countries are those who share the script with another country (like North and South Korea); striped are countries who use a combination of a foreign and native script.
