Guess the Map IV: A Thousand Cries for "Hint Please!"

Damn, beat me to it. GNP?

Can choxorn verify the answer (though it looks pretty damn verified from the link)?

Been more than a day since the guess, and a day since the confirm. Getting the ball rolling again...

This one should be pretty hard. :mwaha:

What do Canada, the United States, Great Britain, Russia, Brazil, Australia, and New Zealand have that distinguishes them from the rest of the world?

Considering the map's somewhere in the middle of the Second World War, Allied nations not counting free France/minor and secondary allies?

It seems somewhat odd that Britain's colonies/territories have not been included.

Countries that independently declared war on Nazi Germany during WWII?

Brazil's the key to this. It didn't really have much of a part in the Second World War though it was on the Allied side.

I'm guessing the participants of a war-time Conference. Yalta? Potsdam? I'm not sure whether Brazil made an appearance at either though.

Countries in the cold war with aircraft Carriers?

Doesn't fit the timeline (WWII) and France, Argentina, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, India and not New Zealand.

Possibly the ****ries using some piece of equipment or visited by someone?

I don't think you could include New Zealand and not South Africa under that criteria.

****ries? :mischief:

It is a piece of equipment, yes.

EDIT: I meant the rest of the British Empire, India, British Africa, British Guyanna, etc.

But it's highly likely I'm missing the point in the context of the map/the quoted text, so the lack of filling those areas in is intentional and moot.
