Oh, of course! Suddenly I realised the answer, but it had already gone by then. :)

Australia, Mali, Liberia, Argentina, Brazil, Jamaica, Germany, Switzerland, and Denmark are the odd ones out. What do they have in common or not have in common with every other country.

Looks sorta like female leaders. Brazil and Argentina make me think that anyway. I think Trinidad has a female though. Edit: Iceland too since she's notably a lesbian.

Looks like that is what it is. Tinidad and Tobago could be a Head of Government vs Head of State issue.

Well, it's a female PM and a female Queen....

It's female Heads of Government, as State would just have Queen Lizzi the Second everywhere..

I used the current list on wikipedia, and did it quite quickly, so Trinidad is my mistake, sorry.

Open.

I don't think many Mr George Maxwell Richards, President of Trinidad and Tobago will agree that he is a Queen or female (yes I had to look the guy's name up, but I thought it was a Republic).

Not to nitpick, but I would also note that Iceland, Thailand, Bangledesh and Guinea-Bissau have female heads of government.

A map where Lithuania and Armenia (I think...) are in the highest category? Is grey a minimal level or is it no data?

One of the first thoughts that popped into my head when I saw this map was "that's where White People live!" Because, you know, I'm a terrible racist person. I ran with ethnicity idea and it seems like both Armenia and Lithuania are very ethnically homogenous. I haven't really checked other countries, but it seems like a good jumping off point so...

Ethnic homogeneity?

Then obviously United States will definite not appearing on the list above (Even B.Obama become president). In the contrary, China and Japan are much ethnically homogenous.

Former SU countries and especially Armenia on top ... something related to chess?

Grey is no data. And yes, Armenia and Lithuania are #1.

Nope.

Number of riots? Size of riots?

Nope.

Nope.

In a couple of posts or so I'll give you the first hint. For the time being you better try to find out for yourself.
