What do you think of the theater?

Regardless of what you answer was, I am relatively certain you do not bemoan the lack of cell phone chargers in live stage productions. One guy, however, felt otherwise.

During a recent production of the play Hand of God, Nick Silvestri ran out of charge on his phone. Thankfully, he had a charger, but Broadway sits are generally devoid of AC outlets. So he did the only thing he could think of, he walked up on stage and used a stage outlet.

He was quickly collected by security, given a stern talking to, and was sat back down in his seat for the rest of the show.

A few days later, Mr. Silvestri called a press conference to apologize to the play and playgoers. To no one's surprise, he had been drinking beforehand, despite being only 19. He also happens to be from Long Island, which also surprised no one.

Interestingly, some of the press at his conference asked if he was related to the show somehow, like this was a big put-on for the show's publicity. It seems like it wasn't. After all, the show had just been transferred to Broadway after opening off-Broadway. That seems a little to desperate for a show that was moving up and had gotten good reviews.

:rotfl:

I don’t go to plays very much, and I didn’t realize that the stage is considered off limits.
What a moron.

His friend isn't much brighter.
