Håkan Eriksson

the EU flag represent a bunch of fat rich people that make desicions regarding the poor people, it represents greed, capitalism, and isolationism (atleast to me)

this has nothing to do with america!" and when these terrorists go and kill innocent people and they expect the world to protect them (wich it DOES) and the US retaliates everybody come with their stupid remarks sayin "boohoo civilians die" civilians ALWAYS die in war, always has been always will happen, but there would be much less civilian casualties if these fanatics wouldnt camp out near civilians, or use them as human shields, i think what the us is doing is very right

"every time the europeans are in trouble" you say. the last time I can recall it was the second world war and I haven't sad anything about that.

I agrea on wath you say here, so i don't understand why you take this statement as to profe something.

The onlt yhing you do is trying to make up fights. It's knas who seems to have somethings personally against me, I don't get it.

Hakan said he knows it was stupid. Fine. What is this post about now? I've lost track what the damn topic is. That flag post seemed like america bashing, but you know it wasn't a great post. Not all my posts are exactly ingenious either. Relax people!!! :crazyeyes

I feelt like I didn't got the chanse to explain myself before the first post I made were canseld so I made a new one explaining myself.

A lot of the stuff that Hakan says makes sense (i will ignore our dispute in the heroin forum)
The US does seem to be in denial about just how ****ed up it is - I am not saying EU countires are not as bad however there people can criticise the government and realise what problems exist wheras in the US criticising the country is not quite as easy - USA bashing indeed - of course we can bash teh USA, just as much as others slate afghanistan (with justification).
I would like the US to do something about the fact that it has the highest percentage of people in the western world under the poverty line: facing up to it would be good, and more so would be No bloody tax cuts: jesus (there was another troublemaker), that makes me so ANGRY

Hakan, whether or not you hate America is none of my concern. But you are carrying with you a long list of misconceptions and you don't even know it. You say in your post (perhaps unintentionally) that America -and hence all Americans- is greedy, malevolent, and corrupt. From that statement alone, I can immediatly tell that you know so little about America that you can only judge it based only on a handful of pitiful notions and the actions of a few individuals.

Now if I wanted to judge my country based on the actions of just a few individuals I could do that too and I could come up with whatever image of my country that I want. If I wanted to see it as the center of philosophy I'd simply picture Emerson or Thoreau. If I wanted to see it as the great science center of the world I'd picture Edison or Einstien. If I wanted to picture it as the great literature capaital of the world I'd come up with Hathorne or Hemmingway. On the other hand if I wanted to picture it as the great criminal state I'd think of Capone, Dahlmer, or Manson. My point is that you can paint any illusion you want for any state in the world -good or bad.

Now you only seem to judge my country based on a few negative things. What they are exactly, I'm not sure. But I can guaruntee you one thing: everything you see is not definitive. In America there are always at least two forces pushing and pulling against eachother...sometimes dozens. President Bush gets up and says, "I won't sign the Kyoto agreements," and you think all America thinks like he does. That couldn't be more wrong. I'm sure I could produce an entire litiny of things to point this out.

Human nature tends toward prejudice and that does not exclude you, Hakan. You and I are exactly the same. We have these illusions that we create or that are created for us and we see nothing else. And so I ask you: How much do you really know about America? How many of us have you really known? How much time have you really spent here?

And thus, we return right to where we began. You don't know anything about us or the rest of the world and untill you can admit that and untill you attempt to remedy that situation you are at the end of your evolutionary journey. There is no room for you to grow untill you cast off all those notions that you wrongly believe to be true.

haakan, you know america bashing isnt allowed. so why do you do it? neither is anyother country bashing for that matter.

when i see the swedish flag, i think of nothing, because it is so insignifigant. well, maybe i think of communism, etc, but thats about it. you guys associate america with brain washing? you think: "look how much of a superior intellect i have, i am immune to brainwashing!" guess what. youve been brainwashed into thinking america is an evil country. you say, capitalism bad, socialism good. communism good. guns bad. war bad. capital punishment bad. murderers good. people who fight against america good. :midfinger

what did you think when you first heard the twin towers got bombed? i bet you thought: "good, another sign of american capitalism, power, greed, war, etc., was destroyed. way to go afganistan."

"I HATE YOU BIN LADEN
I HATE YOU BIN LADEN
I HATE YOU BIN LADEN
I HATE YOU BIN LADEN

I’M PISSED OFF AND NOT A PATIENT MAN
I’D DROP A BOMB ON AFGANISTAN
I’D SNATCH THAT TOWEL FROM YOUR HEAD
WRAP IT AROUND YOUR NECK

PULL IT TIGHT UNTIL YOU ARE DEAD
“M F” YOU WANT TO PLAY
YOU WANT TO GO TO HELL
I’LL SEND YOU TODAY

(CHORUS)

YOU’VE GOT AN OPEN INVITATION
TO MEET US FACE TO FACE
YOU FIGHT LIKE A COWARD
YOU’RE NOT A MAN YOU’RE A DISGRACE

YOU STEPPED ACROSS THE LINE
FROM YOUR SAND TO MY GRASS
YOU’VE GOT AN OPEN INVITATION TO KISS OUR ASS
I AIN’T SCARED TO TAKE AN EYE
FOR AN EYE
I AIN’T SCARED
IT’S THE TRUTH
IT’S AN EYE FOR AN EYE AND A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH
I’M PISSED OFF SEEING RED
CANDY ASS I WANT YOU DEAD"

To Blue Monday -

Thank you!

I really apreciated your post.

I was going to just stop coming to the CFC site, but you have lifted my spirits a little.

It was a refreshing burst of thoughtfulness.

And thanks to KNAS too. It takes guts to speak your mind when your outnumbered.

1. Sweden has blood on its hands...it stood by and watched ww2.

2. The problem with American foreign policy is that it WAS geared up to stop communism even if that meant backing the next worst thing. In addition the fact the administration changes often means that consistency in foreign policy is lost...thus causing cries of hypocrisy...

What America should attempt to do is force a deal on people like the palestinians and jews etc by laying it down a reasonable deal (like Palestinians getting a homeland) and Israel retaining areas dominantly israeli with the exception of the settlements founded AFTER the Oslo accord.

As for Afghanistan...at present it seems very directionless and the accuracy of our airforces a disgrace considering the pathetic AA opposition.
If I were the Americans I would leave Afghanistan during the winter to avert the humanitarian disaster and to try and covertly try to locate and destroy the terrorists rather than blowing up the same airports etc repeatedly.

When people say America's finest are in the armed forces I take that a joke considering that in Britain it isn't the finish that go in typically!

Bed kitten...it is 3:41 am :p

You know what really pisses me off!? Well let see here, when we go and try and help out a country everyone gets pissed and says its american capitalism or **** like that. And if we don't go into a country and help out we get just as much bull**** from people like hakan than we would if we went in and helped out.

Oh and Hakan a correction, europeans were in trouble during the Cold War, both from the shattered economy and from the Soviet Union. I do believe we gave billions to europe to help rebuild their countries and what do we get? we get bull****!
When i went to France, alot of french would talk about us being american.

I say if we're gonna get **** from everyone if we go into a country trying to help out the people and most likely have some of our men and women killed, we should just sit back, let the people of the country starve to death and live under a horrible ruler, and take the **** that everyone will eventually dish out at us, but hell it'll save US lives and US money from being spent on countries that we obviously would get ****ted on, by that country and other countries around the world. Perhaps the only country that we are friends with is Britain.

To Blue Monday: Another "Thanks" from the crowd.

To Knas: I applaude your feelings, and don't be ashamed to be Swedish. I have a good friend here who is from Vastros who read Hakan's thread and couldn't believe a countryman would say such hateful things.

To Hakan and Mikoyan: I can't understand how you both can say these things. Imagine the condition of the world if another nation had the power America has. It takes great responsibility to hold such power, and I understand their will be envious or enraged people across the globe...it is expected. To blanket America and its people with such messages is disgusting. To say that a nation who in 1946 could have literally conquered most of the planet...who could have excerised its power to crush any opposing regime...is "imperialistic" and "militaristic" is rather proposterous. Instead, we poured billions of dollars into Europe to restore it from the tyrrany which swarmed over the continent. We tried to promote freedom throughout the world (although failed here and there), and without expectations of any monetary compensation. I would like to see any other nation have such generosity. While we may be involved militarily across the globe, it is generally for peacekeeping missions (remember Bosnia?), fighting recognized ethnic cleansing (remember Kosovo), providing food for the needy (remember Somolia), and defending invaded nations for no other reason except for oil supplies seeked by the invaders (remember Kuwait?). Before you accuse America of such horrible things, consider what your life would be like without us. And Hakan: I do consider the source...what can you possible know being 16 years old? Can you possibly know what happend to your continent the past 50 years? Do you have any grip on the reality in this world? Or do you just play "Civilization" too much?

To Graeme the mad: Speak for your own nation. Here in America, we have low taxes and poverty, but we have opportunity to climb out of poverty without the help of a government bail-out which promotes laziness and inefficiency. And if you have ever been here you would know the poverty in this country largely would be similar to the average luxury level of Italy or Spain...and parts of Wales and Scotland, too. Show me the same opportunity in Britain, and yes, I have many friends there, and yes, they are all aristocrats. Don't get me wrong: I appreciate the friendship our two nations have, but I get the feeling if you were in charge, it would be different.

Just fed up with all the nonsense and ignorance.

~Chris

ok...

This is something i feel pretty strongly about, not capitiziation, but judgements.

Hakan.
You go on about not judging and discrimitating people because of colour gender.

What are you doingn right now?

You are dissing people because they are american. You are saying that americans are capitalists.
In new zealand, maoris make up 1/3 of the population, and they make up 1/2 of the prison population.
The logic that racists use is that maoris are so evil and bad and **** like that and we should punish them blah blah blah.
Thats not my attitude, i think we should pusish all the maoris that are doing the bad stuff, just as much as the other whites/indians/negros/aussies/indoneisions/poms/etc.

You are blatatnly dissing america, why not diss specific people companys/people (eg microsoft).

IM not going to say that 'swedish people are ****ing ****s, they are ignorant' after reading this. Im just saying you are hakan.

For me, the EU flag doesn't represent anything but politics
desperatly trying to create an 'EU' nation here. And I don't care about it.
