Happy Victory Day!

Today, 64 years ago peoples of Russia and allied nations have won in humanity's most terrible war. Let us not forget the sacrifices of millions of people that made many of us be born and live today. Let us not forget the horrors of fashist ideoogy and the suffering of millions of victims in nazi camps.

Each of the millions of stories is an example of heroism, a lesson how to remain human and win against insupportable odds. A lesson we should never forget.

Let us join in commemorating the memories of those that died so that we may live, let us thank our venterans for this victory.

Gotta hand it to the Russian's. Sure, the other nations lost much in bringing down the Reich, but the Soviet Union bore the brunt of the effort. 15 percent of the Soviet Union's population, dead. That is absolutely mind boggling.

The world owes a great debt to those men and women of the Soviet Union, regardless of ideology.
