Wow, can't believe so many people hate math. (it's so interesting, not as interesting as special relativity though)
Special relativity was derived from math! Without math it never would have existed!

So true. But it's never covered in math class. Only in Physics.

A year ago, I would have said English. But gradually, I got better in writing, and my analytical skills increased as I got into more and more debates on forums, so now English is one of my stronger ones, I think.

I don't find subjects "harder" than the other. I find their workload and difficulty to be about the same, and have more bearing on the level of the class itself rather than the subject.

Overall, I'd say Russian has been my hardest high school subject, although I did have one mother of a 9th grade social studies class.

For me the two hardest are English and Chemistry. I hated both of those, and I had them both last semester. Luckily I don't have them any more :D

The Malay language - the Bahasa Melayu subject. We even had to learn darn classical Malay!

And Art (you know; drawing and painting). ;)

Math was always difficult. Once I understood one concept, we'd already be on a different one. Frusturating!

Girls. I more than made up for it afterwards, though. ;)

Lucky you. Most men will never get what the opposite gender is thinking.

English 12. I absolutely suck at analyzing poems/stories and trying to determine its theme.

Just give me some nice, comfortable Physics, Chemistry, Math, or Calculus equations/formulas/laws! You know, something I can get 96% in instead of the 81%-86% that I think I'm getting in English. (Although I am doing better in English than I thought I would...)

Shop is a class (perhaps aka Industrial Technology) where you learn about tools & their proper usage and then use them to design and make stuff. You could possibly make tables, cages, torture devices, bongs, or anything, depending on how lenient and how cool your teacher is.
We had that in elementary. We could either chose between wood- and metalcraft or textile craft. I sucked at it, but it was still very fun making base ball bats, mugs and candeleers (sp?).

Science is mine. But I love math and history. Seems like I'm the only who likes math!
I love it too and have taken as many classes as possible. The best part is that I seldom have to really study the subject, and no home work...

For me it was french, I could never remember the correct forms of these verbs
And I was one of the few kids who didn't like gym...

Btw: what's Shop?

English was the hardest subject for me, even in Freshmen year. I had to go through 90 pages about an old man catching a fish. If it was just physics, we can just measure the mass of the fish vs the mass of the boat vs drag and old man's fatique, so we can calculate the fastest way he can catch that fish. 2pages at most, not 90.

I guess it depends on the teacher, your mindset, and ability. I stunk at math, yet excelled at physics because I could relate and see the results.

I guess I'm not 'math-brained'. No matter how hard I tried, or how many times I was tutored, I had to work my butt off to get a 'B' in math. English... I scored in the top 5% of the nation on my SAT's. Go figure...... It must be a brain thing.... :)
