Hattrick

The key to the game is midfield so if your midfielders have good stamina and playmaking they will get more possession. Its all about training stamina in the offseason if they happen to have low stamina.
Yes I was thinking along those lines. Having studied and played a bit I have taken a two season approach on trainning / selling and buying / developing before I can be competitive.

Thats weird I was actually looking at your league yesterday but didn't realise you had one of the teams in it.
Small world eh! :)

Wow, 85 % posession in a league game with 3-4-3, that's impressing, so I can understand that you see it as having made not enough goals.

Won also 3-0 where I thought I'd win higher. But I have PICed and will PIC again on Saturday against a team that never logged in.
For 8 games in a row, my keeper didn't let a ball in!

Woot! My first win against an actively managed team. 2-1 (and I PICed) ;)

I'm planning on PICing 4 games in a row and then MOTSing the last game of the season. It will be fun.

For all those supporters out there ( or those who want to be in the future):
There's a new federation called "Civ Players Federation" founded by Shabbaman, so join now...

I just okayed your application. Thanks for the promotion socralynnek!

BTW, Iggy, I took a look at your formations. Most forward trainers play a 3-4-3 formation with a winger as extra forward, and a defender as extra inner midfielder. This is to strengthen the midfield. Midfield creates opportunities for the offense, so it's quite important.

@ Shabbaman. Thanks for that. :)

The advice is most welcome, cheers.

One question I would ask. What sort of sponsership revenue and number of fans would you expect a bottom div team to have after a second season?

It would depend on how well you are doing and what you started off on.

If you started off with 500 fans then by now you could have anywhere between about 1000 and 700 on depending on how good the opposition is. Sponsorship revenue should depend on the number of Spokespersons you have and what your results are like.

I have 1113 fans and get £42 173 a week in sponsorship money

I started in Feb with 200 fans and now have 343. I am upto £21000 sponsership money with 5 spokesmen. I have written off this season from a results point of view, I am trainning and have bought a number of players for trainning and selling purposes. Once I sell a couple of my trainnees I will be back in the black and able to just about keep my head above water. It is handy to know what levels I can look forward to in the future - cheers Dell19.
My stadium holds 10700 and is rarely half full so even though building prices are doubling I reckon I will not need to look at expanding for a couple more seasons at least.

Your supporter club should expand quickly and you will probably start to fill your stadium often. I got 19500 fans come to my last game against the team in 8th so if you have the money I would add some more to your stadium although it is only worthwhile if you are gong to add at least 5000 to the capacity.

Keep your supporters mood high, that'll work.
That probably involves not losing games though. I have still to master that. :)

7-1 away victory whilst PICing :)

Less possession than last week but this time we won and convincingly. Sold a player for £462k and brought a new formidable IM for 362k.

I joined Hattrick, since it interested me, if anyone wants an easy win they can play me.

You would be welcome to join the CDZ friendly cup next season :)

I've just spent £670 000 on two midfielders... Will be kind of disappointed if I stay in the bottom division for another season.

k, awesome.:rockon::rockon::rockon:

I won my last game 4-0, most goals Pugwash FC has scored yet.:D

I am still the second worst team in the division, but the squad is alot stonger than it was when I took over. It is a tough division I'm in, but hopefully I will be fighting for promotion in 2/3 seasons time.

I am low on money though, and its gonna take weeks before I have enough cash to spend on a good player.:(

What are you training? You have a passable coach but you don't seem to have many young players and none of them have high TSI which would be expected if you are training goalkeepers.
